I bought a laptop 2 weeks ago. Within 2 weeks, the fan has been acting up, the right click key fell off, and I'm screwed out of $310 I feel. But, I have until tonight to exchange it, so I need help. How do I erase EVERYTHING off of this laptop? I've entered so much personal info on here I'm worried. I have my credit card, all my info, etc. What do I do?

Most laptops come with a disk, you can put it in and reset to factory settings or you can into cotnrol pannel and click it i believe

Just search for "how to put *insert laptop name here* back to factory settings".

Either that or make a disk with DBAN on it (Google it) and boot off of that. It'll wipe the hard drive completely.
