...the proposed new scale? I for one would be interested if only it was done right. I see figures of different entities at retail in both the 6-7inch and the 4 inch and I think it would be cool, like I said, if only done right. Any news Bill(s)?

God, I sure hope not. If the Legends line died at retail, then a brand new scale will, too. The Flex Force figures sell because aprents buy random stuff for their kids that look like they would be cool, and the Rumblers sell because they just look awesome. As far as a new 4-inch scale goes, I'm not sure that they can do anything inventive enough to sell it as well as their current main lines.

It would be hard to justify another line sitting on the shelves when there is hardly enough room for all the stuff they have now. Only way I would be open to it is if they made a new scale and canceled the flex force line!

4-inch will never really sell as good as the 6-inch. Does it really matter? No it doesn't so Mattel wouldn't consider doing something like that when there already having issues with their current lines in selling.

I really hope they don't add another damn scale.
He have Basics and Elites....they are already starting to cheap out on the details and accessories to them.
But we can have Flex Force, Flex Force that make sounds, AND Flex Force that light up? Do we really need three different Flex Force lines all at the same time?
I'd rather be able to have more cloth accessories instead of rubber shirts, and title belts that are all shiny instead of some that are shiny and some that are dull or just cheap plastic.

Pretty sure I remember them saying it didn't go over well here or in test groups, so it was "on hold."

A new scale added to what they already have will make more money for Mattel. Not sure why everybody is comparing other lines or thinking that it's taking budget away from other lines like basic and elite.
I for one would like smaller scale so that the figures would be cheaper, for example smaller figures with Elite articulation for the same price as a basic. Plus Mattel can make tons of accessories. If Mattel did this, I would stop buying Rumblers.
Mattel did ask for opinions on this question last year but it's not like they listen to us anyways.

Does anyone remember that these are toys made for children? Trust me I love getting Legends and nicely made figures with detailed acessories and what not. But I'm also just glad to be getting any figs at all. Just my opinion.

This is more my wavelength of thinking of it, I want as inclusive a WWE figure collection as possible that somebody like me who has a limited budget can go with, not to mention limited space.

Aren't the squinkies a new scale? Different company, but new scale none the less.

I really hope they don't do another scale. Stick to the basics & elites. For kids you have Flexforce & Rumblers. Please no more lines.

I would love to see them if they're made like Bend Ems or Hasbros or something.

I was hoping for Hasbro style figures as I thought that Mattel and Hasbro merged years back.
After researching, it seems that the merger / buyout almost happened but did not.
I guess they could still make figures SIMILAR to Hasbros but could not make them exactly the same. :/
I am good with the Elite / Basic scale. Rumblers are the "other" scale at the moment. I am not sure if kids would like the 3 3/4" scale but they might

Am I the only one who would like to see a specialty line of LARGER scale figures, say 11" to 12" and made in a style similar to Maximum Aggression?
Mattel could easily produce and sell these at $29 a pop in sets of two or three per series, and release no more than 3 series per year. How cool would it be to have an 12" Elite-style Ultimate Warrior, or Steve Austin, or Kane in his new gear?!

There is speculation that the Legends might go away now...Maybe if they were in a 4 inch scale with still every bit of detail and accessories, then maybe they'd be cheaper thus people might buy them along with the other superstars figures and stuff in this new scale and thus, stores would carry them more, etc etc. I'm just thinking out loud here. For me, this new scale would be to replace my collecting of the 6 inch figures. That's the only way I see it to work. Inflation sucks.
