No proto, nor was he ever even mentioned by Mattel as being planned for any series.

the TNA Toybiz one is nicely to scale, though the attire isn't what he wore in WWE.

Kaval didn't give them time to do anything, he comes in NXT moves to Smackdown gets a push right off the bat gets hurt. Then he complains when he is healed that they aren't doing anything with him. He was a moron who got released cause the company was being cautious and he expected more than he was worth.

No he didn't. "I knew the writing was on the wall after my match with Drew McIntyre, but I didn't think it would come that quickly. And on December 23, I got the call saying I was being released. At no point did I ask for my release."

Some say that he was planned for Basic 11, because there are only five figures in that set (which has Daniel Bryan, whose return came within a few weeks of Kaval winning NXT).

It is sad he left . I would've loved a Kaval figure.

I have the TNA Toybiz one, and it's great, but it's still a little short. It's a shame we didn't get a Kaval imo. Him with one of his vests would have made for an awesome figure. I'm pretty sure Mattel said he was in the works during one of the Q&As but obviously, as mentioned above, it never got much past penciling him into a lineup.
As far as Kaval's brief stint with WWE, I sort of believe it was a combination of his bad attitude towards the company, which I sort of understood once he came out and expressed the issues he had, and WWE not knowing what the hell to do with him. They didn't know what to do with Daniel Bryan either until they gave him MITB, and I just think they have trouble, at least creatively, with smaller guys. Kaval has succeeded every other place he has been so I have to believe he would have continued to succeed in WWE had he and WWE been on the same page.

His WWE run was actually getting good, too bad he walked out and threw a fit.

I wish he would have stuck around long enough for a figure.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think we've ever seen a prototype that didn't eventually get released by Mattel yet...

Also, I believe there was a Chi Town Rumble Ricky Steamboat proto floating around, which I don't believe we will be getting. Then of course Jeff Hardy.
