Early Mornin' to you gents I was watching episode 2 of WWE Download, not too bad, and came across WrestleMania XX moments. Only goes for bout a minute, and I noticed they left Benoit - HBK - HHH out. I know what happened with him left the WWE kinda freaking the out, but what's the point in having a video where it shows Michaels and Triple H beating the crap out of each other in the start but no match highlights? It was a main event! A damn good one at that! Do you guys think WWE should've shown it or not?

It would have been easier just to avoid the whole match all together.

That would work.
Or shown him with the belt at the last second without any name given, so the younger fans will be like who the f*cks that?

I think its best to just not show him at all. I know you cannot erase history, but you can try. WWE is best to just completely ignore the Benoit history. At least for the next 50 or so years.

Yeah, I saw that same thing and was going to post this, but figured it was beating a dead horse at this point. Especially when their Wrestlemania XX card on their site said (and maybe still does) "Shawn Michaels and Triple H competed in a triple threat match."

They've shown Benoit on Best of Nitro, Satans Prison where he's had matches and promos. They should've just not shown HBK and HHH in the intro

Don't be stupid. There's no need to show Benoit ever again in video packages like this. That video was edited perfectly well.

WWE needs to grow up and simply acknowledge the man existed. He made a great contribution to the industry and no man should ONLY be remembered for the end.

WWE needs to grow up and simply acknowledge the man existed. He made a great contribution to the industry and no man should ONLY be remembered for the end. No, they don't. Wrestling fans, like us, will more than likely remember the people for what they did in the ring. However, for the rest of the world, he is the guy that murdered his wife and child and then killed himself. Sponsors and television networks are NOT wrestling fans. So the only thing they think when they see Benoit is murderer. This is the reason that WWE refuses to promote Benoit. Putting a match of his on a DVD boxset is completely different then coming out and talking about how this guy was in the main event of the biggest show of the year and won the title. The DVD thing is done under the "radar" so to say, with no mention or commentary to illude to Benoit, hence no promoting.

This is why WWE is a piece of crap, they'll try erasing what Benoit did for over 20 years. He should be erased? that, he worked harder than every new young talent today, even the legends. Sad he won't be remembered...

youre joking right? the WWE is a piece of crap? ? CHRIS BENOIT MURDERED AN INNOCENT CHILD AND WOMAN!!!!!!!!If he went on a rampage in your town and killed your best friend....or your wife....or your brother would you care about seeing him in some stupid highlight video? He SHOULD be erased from all history. They shouldn't even acknowledge the fact that he was a champion...ever. Period. Chris Benoit wasn't a great wrestler, he wasn't a great champion, he shouldn't be remembered for his "accomplishments" Chris Benoit was a piece of dog crap and hopefully is rotting in the darkest part of hell

Nice to see some people understand why Benoit is blacked out.
To some of you guys, Benoit was a great wrestler.
To everyone else? He's a murderer.
The WWE can get enough bad public image without associating itself with a murderer.

The failure i've often felt was on the WWE, it never has seemed to offer checks on the mental health of it's talent. But ultimately it was a horrible misfortune that no body could have predicted. You cannot take away the fact he was a good wrestler, you may not have been a fan, but if you go back and watch his matches, WITHOUT the bias you have, you will see he was one of the best of all time in that ring. He, Eddie, Jericho and Angle were the backbone to alot of the quality wrestling that we saw in the late attitude era.

The Benoit/Eddie hug with Benoit blacked out is NOT something WWE did. That was made by someone on the internet trying to be funny.
