So some of you may remember a while ago, I posted on here about "Having the right look".. Well, here is an indy match I just worked and I'd like to get some feedback!
Let me know what you think about the match! My ring name is Alex Shepherd and I wrestle "Unbreakable" Andy and Tony Deppen in a Three Way Dance. ;D

You need A LOT of work. In fact, all 3 of you do. Its not just you. The match looked EXTREMELY staged. I bet most of it was preplanned. Most of the moves, from the kicks, enziguri, etc. werent very crisp and were just glancing blows. Punches were very weak. Timing is so, so off. And it seemed as the match got further into it you guys were forgetting some of the spots.
The double whip to the corner was so rehearsed and almost seemed like it was in slow motion. Then when you came off the second with the elbow, it looked more like you just tripped over yourself and crashed into your opponents.
Also, who taught you guys how to get up? All of you work your way up with hands open and on mat. You should NEVER get up that way. Good way of getting your fingers broken.
What I liked was the slingshot, block, enziguri sequence. Unfortunately, the handspring was botched, but was fairly recovered nicely. The kid in the tshirt had a very nice standing moonsault.
In addition, you need to work more snug. You guys have too much distance from one another and it opens more of the mistakes and weak shots up.
Alex, you need to get rid of the amateur wrestling shoes and get some boots.

Overall....A LOT of work needs done. Your "look" needs work, but a lot of times you will discover that the more you are out there and get a feel for the character you are portraying. Obviously, you need to get more bulked up. But I would concentrate on is getting better ring fear. Remember, everyone doesnt need to wear black.

OK i checked out about half and have a few questions?
who trained you and for how long did you train? Before this how many matches did you have? how would you describe your gimmic?
ok besides that the double submission move was nice , i also feel that you need to slow the F down , your just doing a move or spot then on to the next one its a bit to much keep it simple and the fans will pop more for the moves the cm punk knee to the turnbuckle was nice but if you watch punk he takes his time and really sells it one he hits it in the corner. remember that your moving half as fast as the fans so you need to slow down and you should be ok
As far as your look kick pads and soft shoes are ok for now im sure people are going to say that you need to put on some weight , but again thats up to you.
ok on to the rest of the match nice knees for the double down. fire up on the come back your the face right? if so you should have come out of that with the upper hand. work the fans when you were in the top turnbuckle and that guys was going to hit you with that kick move you should have been playing up to the fans like you were about to hit something big . i like the Finnish but you to slow it down you hit it so quick no one popped it
I hope that helped if you want more help add me on facebook derek sharp

OK before I start watching I applaud you from the get go for a Three Way. I have had a couple and IMO they are the hardest match to put on as you never wanna leave a guy just selling for to long.
Onto the match.
Wrestling Rule #1 - Never Turn your back to anyone. When you took off your shirt you were looking at neither opponent. Take it off as soon as you get in or leave it on.
I will not only critique you but them as well. The lock up was very soft and I have no clue why Tony looked the opposite way of both of you. When you lock up stare your opponent eye to eye.
You did my biggest....BIGGEST pet peeve. When he gave you the arm drag.....you gave him your arm. Plain as day. You went here take my arm. One thing I always teach to new guys is no matter how long they have been in the business make them work for every hold or else you both look silly.
Second biggest.....If you are gonna whip them and you in the middle....just do a deep whip. I hate when I see guys take an extra 3 or 4 steps just to walk to the rope. It will look more impactful from the middle as well.
Why would Andy just let Tony pick him up from pinning you and sit there like "Oh hi there where are you taking him?"
I am assuming Andy and Tony are Heels but even so they are acting TOO buddy buddy. The corner spot looked really bad because of this.
Also where is the intensity? These whips and most of the shots look god awful and like you all are putting such little effort into it.
I truly feel like you all don't fully trust one another. The way you all move around is just off and looks that way.
Again with whips.....Since you are whipping Andy and he is bigger than you why would he run all the way to the other side of the ring. When you whip come out with them. Don't just stand in the corner.
Pet Peeve number 3, man you guys are going down my list, Leg drops are NOT on the chest. It looks very sloppy.
Man that had to be one hell of a leg lock....he sold the crap out of it then got up and his leg was fine.
What was that cross body back elbow spot.....Where you going for the cross body then changed your mind?
OK so I am skimming though at this point and a couple things I have seen.....You all have a lot of dead time....GRAB SOMETHING.....head lock, wrist lock, hammer lock, something anything. You all look very very lost. You get lost, grab something until you can figure out your next move.
This goes to all three of you....if you can't do something right don't do it. The couple moves that have looked very sloppy I believe is because you don't know how to do them.
Off Topic...the ref is an idiot....
OK after the end I have to say this.....Yourself and Andy are good.....I don't like Tony. You all have what it takes I believe......I have trained worse guys lol. Slow things down and tell a story. You all went out for most spots and you all left with people remembering maybe 1 or 2 of you 20 or 30 spots. Watch alot of old USWA, SMW, NWA, Malenko and Guerrero stuff from ECW and just watch the story they tell. Now watch ROH and see the same story being told today in a new way. The story is missing. I couldn't tell the Heels or Faces and the stand out point of the match was the Moonsault. Other than that take the criticism of others to heart and work to better yourself. I can tell you have a heart for the business.
