Their is no writing on the bags like the other mail-aways so i'm calling them fake, unless someone can prove otherwise.

Yeah, I'd say they are fake. And not even all that good of a fake either.

I messages him, said he bought them off a now deceased x hasbro employees son along with about 3000 other figures. I sent him an email too, didnt get back to me. I have actually met locals who have purchased stuff off of hasbro employees, and their stuff isn't that good (Hasbro is located in my state). Hasbro employees used to get a huge discount on toys, and would pass them onto relatives. Most didnt get cool stuff like testshots or unproduced figures, or in this case, a figure in a plastic bag.

I find it funny how anyone can just say something is 100% fake. I get that it wasnt a distributed mail away figure. That much we know. I get that its much more likely then not going to be fake but is it really outside the realm of possibility that hasbro bagged random figures and gave them away to Employee's, people they did business for etc??? People seem quick to dismiss things based on the fact they havent seen it before or are a so called "Expert" on hasbro's. I recall a decent amount of people calling Bull Sh*t on the guy with the Galoob proto's and I loved when he posted pics of them.

So instead of mailaway figures just say ex hasbro employer regular bagged figs. There are just 3 mailaway usa figs and one uk mailaway fig along with the two bagged figures of the jc penny ring. Its not my fault if hasbro released just these figures! It would be really nice to be wrong but unfortunately there are not other mailaways except the ones I mentioned above.

I recall a decent amount of people calling Bull Sh*t on the guy with the Galoob proto's and I loved when he posted pics of them. It is listed as a hasbro mailaway. Its not a hasbro mailaway. It has no identifying marks on the bag. Its a loose, bagged figure. What are we supposed to think about that? If you cant prove what you say it is, and its never been seen before, gotta say it isn't real. The galoob guy could prove it was a proto. This guy can't prove its a "mailaway." If you want to take the chance on it, go ahead. Also, isn't it weird that this person bought 3,000 pieces from a hasbro employee, and the first things posted on ebay are the ones never seen before. Story doesnt sound legit.

Not sure which galoob proto guy your referring to but the one I'm referring to put pictures up of his rare protos. I also want to add these things are 10us dollars. Who do you think has the time to be running some foolish counterfeit scam using 2 of the more common hasbros? It doesn't add up on that end. Ill state it again it's clearly not a hasbro mail away offered to the public. I have listed what it could possibly be. A big difference between something being 100% fake and it being listed incorrectly.

Sent him a message. Here's what I received back:
Dear figurecollections,
Hi, This came from a Hasbro employee that past away. I bought the collection of 3000 plus figures off his son about 2 years ago. This is all that I know. Thank you John.

When it comes to "rare" collectibles... I learned everything I know from Rick from Pawn Stars... "It's not that I don't trust you, it's that I don't trust anyone."
