Hey guys,
Asking for a little bit of advice here. I have an 'informal' interview tomorrow for University and was wondering if there was any tips apart from the obvious.
Also, have any of you guys had an 'informal' interview? What can I expect?
Thanks

I did have informal interview before when I apply the course at the university.
All they will ask you something like as, why do you want to study this course? What experience do you got for this course? Can you manage with the essays, and meet the deadline? Something like as that.
Just preparing, and not make yourself too much tense. Bring all the qualifications you got, as they may want to have look? I did bring my qualifications, but they never asked for it.
So Good luck!

Just make sure you've read everything you've said you've read in your Personal Statement (so many people don't do this), and be clear about why you want to study the course. Maybe write down a few basic points in response to the obvious questions and learn them.

Cheers lads, went well and got a conditional offer. Thing is I did my A levels like 2 years ago, so I'm guessing they just want me to show proof of the grades on my application?

Never actually had to interview for my place, just got a straight conditional. Weird thing like, considering its like the best place in the world to do the course, meh, doesn't matter now, was a year ago and Im in Uni now anyway.

I got accepted on deffered entry without an interview (go this september). But I'd say keep it simple, it will likely just be why you want to study the course, what you look forward too etc.
Which uni is it for? Just out of curiosity

UWIC is where I had the interview and where I want to go mate, and I'll be doing English/Creative Writing. Can't wait now, put uni off for a couple of years but really glad I'm finally going. Just got to scan my certificates and should change to an unconditional.

Just got to scan my certificates and should change to an unconditional. Thats the same interview I went to last year, that and English and Contempory Media. Got accepted by both as long I got the grades. Got the grades in the summer but decided to go to Glamorgan instead since it gives a better chance to mix and match your subjects. Now I'm doing English with Law at Glamorgan, and aside from one module I'm really enjoying it. I'll shoot you a PM to tell you about what happened in my interview last year. The guy caught me off guard last year but I managed to blag my way around it.
