The ratings for Tuesday’s Super Smackdown Live show did a 1.7 cable rating, with 2.32 million viewers.
This is down from what the show usually does on Friday and considered a major disappointment. For example, Friday’s edition of Smackdown scored a 1.95 (2.0) cable rating, with 2.96 million viewers.

That's not good.. at all. Maybe viewers prefer it on a friday night rather than the tuesday.

Or there was a lack of promotion like other live SD shows. Didn't seem like they put too much into this one, like they did with the one around Christmas, was it 2010?

Yeah, I think it has a lot to do with the lack of promotion, not to mention there's much more competition on Tuesdays.

They hardly even promoted it.. at all.
The only reason I knew it was on Tuesday was because I saw it flipping through the channels.
Not surprised it had such a low rating.

It's because lots of people thought that it was going to be Tomorow I think, but even tough, it was a meh Smackdown. Not that good besides the main event that was nice (Punk vs. Bryan).

I'm glad I watched Raw or would not have known.It was good, kind of reminded me of a SNME.Glad Kofi was on the card.

It would probably help if a third of the show wasn't Raw recap.
If I'm not watching Raw or Smackdown live, it takes me about an hour and 25 minutes to watch Raw. it takes an hour to an hour and five minutes to watch Smackdown. That's ridiculous.

I watch USA (Syfy sister station) all day long just about every day (Im an NCIS & Law and Order fan) and I only recall seeing 1 ad about Tuesday smackdown and that was during Raw. Im not surprised it bombed.

I knew it would get low ratings. It was barely promoted like other live SmackDown episodes.

Maybe Friday will have a really high rating for a replay show? I didn't realize so many people didn't know about it.
