It should be like in 05 where it was streched out in weeks, and the guy who got drafted would appear on the show.

Why would it matter at all if there was a draft? What would change? It should be quick and painless. One night so we never need to hear about it again, not dragged out imo.

I would want it to be 1 week and then I'd like them to stick to the branding for a few months afterwards.

Considering that it looks like there will be 1 GM for both shows after Wrestlemania...what IS the point of a draft?

I think they need to do away with seperate brands and not have a draft. Smackdown is really hurting in terms of star power and i hardly watch b/c most of the time the good guys are on Raw and its just highlights on Smackdown of what happened on Raw. Take out the highlights and give Cena a promo or something about what happened on Raw and i might be interested. I am not saying they need to wrestle every show but just have them come out confront people do whatever. Instead of having all the contract signings on Raw make them on Smackdown, that way you get the top draws on both shows and it gives people that i wonder what will happen feeling.

I hope they do have one and I would like if they stick to brands then instead of anyone can appear on any brand. There are too many stars to actually make it all the one brand now.

That was a good draft & back when it meant something. It would suck really if they did that now, nobody would care. The Draft has sucked for a while now, last year's was dreadful with the whole Cena thing & the overkill supplemental draft.
It would be foolish to end the brand extension altogether though cause it would make house show schedule's more awkward & you wouldn't have a clue as to which guys would appear on what show.
