I brought this up in the RAW thread monday night. We have all of the Attitude era guys going up against current stars (except HHH and 'Taker). We had Cena and Kane, we have Jericho and Punk, and finally we have Rock and Cena. Considering we haven't really had a great Survivor Series build up in years, how do you think an angle where guys from the Attitude Era (the Dying Breed) go up against the PG era guys (the New Breed) would work?

I think it would be amazing.
But WWE don't do amazing Survivor Series main events anymore.

I like your idea. I'd like for old titles to be brought back too, for storyline purposes. The feud could make for a great Survivor Series. Maybe champion vs. champion matches and elimination matches.

Rhodes and Show are feuding as well. Your idea would be great if they decided to do it.

Oh, yeah, your right. Also, seeing as (I think) Survivor Series is relatively close in date to WrestleMania, they could do stuff with Austin and Punk seeing as there are rumours they will fight next Mania.

Dying Breed might be a bad choice of words as a lot of the former wrestlers have died.

Obviously, it would be a huge match but it just couldn't work.

The only way I could see them doing this is on a 3-hour RAW special, which would be themed as another "Old School RAW".

They would really have to do it right. Who would be face and who would be heel?

I think it could work. Have HHH, Jericho, Rock, Austin and Show vs Punk, Cena, Ziggler, Bryan and Sheamus at Survivor Series. Yes, there have been "new breed" story lines in the past, but I think this would easily overshadow them in terms of real star power considering many of the younger guys are firmly established stars in their own right. A clash of generations would be awesome. Actually, this years WM already kinda has that feel to it with Punk/Jericho, Rock/Cena and potentially Rhodes/Show.
