Just make sure not to come off as too nervous nor not nervous enough. I heard of a friend who went in and was described as being too confident. Just be you I am sure you'll get the job

By all means ask if there is any chance to progress in the job, that shows some ambition that i'm sure they will appreciate. But don't go overboard, try to slip it in towards the end if you sense it's going well. Just be confident and friendly, i'm more than sure you have the abilities to be a cashier! I hope so man. The register seems to do most of the work, but I'm just nervous regarding credit cards and stuff. I'm sure I'll get it if I get the job. I did mention it briefly but she said as I expected to discuss it later if I get the job. Well I'm sure you'll make the job, just make sure you stay ambitious and friendly so whenever people walk by or stop at the register, people will notice how humble and amicable you are there for receiving more customers to your register. In regards to credit cards, it pretty self explanatory it systematic in the register so you shouldn't have any possibles there. Hope everything goes well and if not, there are plenty of other opportunities you can explore. |
