Quick question for any of you guys in UK who've ordered from RSC before.
I've just had a very nice PPI refund, so am gonna have a treat and blow a bit of it on figs for me and my boy.
I've been looking around on ebay/wrestlingworld/RSC etc... the usual places, and for the amount I will probably spend, and the figures I am looking for, I am considering placing an order with RSC.
Even though the shipping cost is f'in ridiculous to the UK, the choice and cost of figs they have, plus the 20% WM sale kind of softens the blow of the shipping.
Question is - am I likely to get a get a customs charge on top of the shipping costs too?
Cheers

If you are getting more than one figure then its a luck game ... More than likely you will get done by customs ... Personally I have ordered from RSC twice and got done on customs both times, so I will never order from them again.
Technically if the package is over £18.00 I believe, then you are eligible for customs, other than that its just luck

I would think if you're ordering a lot of figures from them, then it's very likely you'll be charged by Customs I'm afraid... especially if they put the value of the figures on the customs form on the front.
I'm amazed at RSC International shipping prices though... I wonder if they realize how many more orders they'd get if was more reasonable?

I'm sure they do realise but USPS give them the prices so unless they look else where it sucks for us Thing with RSC is, you order big and get custom charge or order 1 figure and be raped on shipping

I've put about £200-250 aside to spend on figs - prob wont get this amount of disposable cash to splash like this for a while.
Shipping will account for about £40 so it will leave me about £160-200 for figs - totting up what I want it will be about 20 figs in total.
How much customs charge do y reckon id get charged - is it based on value of item, size or weight or all of the above??

Trust me when I say that when you order 20 figs from RSC, your GBP 40,- will never ever be enough for shipping. Have you even tried going to their site and putting in an order for 20 figs so you know how much shipping would be? Just try, you will be amazed!
Edit;
I just tried it myself by putting in an order for 20 Cena Basics, shipping would set me back USD 138,- which is roughly GBP 90,-. Plus on top of that you are looking at a customs fee on every pound above GBP 18,- ordered.
Ps. If you want a tip, pm me!

You would have to be an absolute fool to order from them, when living in the UK.

Done a mock order and figs inc shipping is $380 - roughly £240-250 in total.
Just wandering what customs fees could be on this.
Thing is ordering some of these figs in UK would be just as expensive given the ridiculous prices places charge over here for some DMs/EGs/early Elites.
So its either pay extortionate shipping/customs fees, or pay over the top for figs locally - who'd be a collector eh!?!?!?

My point exactly, or have a look in the US Classifieds

Go on ebay US, find the figure/s you want and email the seller asking them to put $10 on the customs form, if they will, buy the figure.

Isn't wrestlingmagic Wrestlingworld's Amazon account? Yeh it is ... They have like 2 amazon accounts I think, plus Ebay, Plus their site that stocks different things. I would say give them an email (if they reply) and send them your wishlist. Personally though, I would be more inclined to shop seperately. You may pay more for one DM figure, but then you save on others. Before you place a massive international order, check: Ebay UK Ebay US Classifieds on here Gumtree etc You will be amazed at what you can pick up. Buying a lot from RSC is crazy and customs will have you balls deep
