This is just wishful thinking on my part, but a cool scenerio if it happened.
What if, trying to strong-arm Ric Flair, TNA called an audible at the last minute? If they told him: "If you show up at the WWE Hall Of Fame, we're letting you go." He goes anyway. They release him. He shows up on stage at the HOF a contractually-free man. By the end of the night, he signs a WWE Legends deal, and is back as part of the WWE family - available for Network/Roundtable appearances, merchandising (a Mattel figure), and as a Foley-esque ambassador for the company.
Would be cool, but only a wild idea.

Honestly, I hope TNA does try and stop him going. It's about time they grew some balls.

I don't see any reason why TNA would be opposed to Flair going..maybe it reminds people of him and they startwatchg TNA because of it.
Kind of like no publicity is bad publicity. WWE gains nothing really by him being there, the tickets are sold so it would benefit TNA to have Flair's face on TV. no?

I hope TNA lets him go so he can stay there.
I respect Flair and all but the guy needs to be out of the business for good.
At least if he's in TNA that means I don't have to watch him embarrass himself every week on Raw.

i think flair will show up no matter what TNA says. he no shows TNA events and phones it in when he is there. he doesnt have the same fire and desire in TNA like he did in WWE.

Dixie is too nice to do that to someone, especially a legend like Ric Flair. And besides, it wouldn't be the 4 Horsemen without Ric Flair there. That would be like having the nWo without Hollywood Hogan in attendance.
