Fitting. Get through your heads that it was the most sensible thing to do. I mean, in a kayfabe standpoint, Bryan bullcrapted his waytrough it, needless to say, that's why I loved it. He sat there, getting DQ's and such, when he was actually faced with a real challenge.
Quit being fanboys. He ran for months, and when he got a real match, Bryan got kicked in the mush, and they called it a day. It makes total sense. I understand your frustration. As a guy who went live, and did the yes thing, I was dissapointed, but looking back, it was pretty apropos. When you think about it fully, it was good.

I am not frustrated in the least. I don't even watch the damn product, but I just cannot believe they would waste his talent and more importantly, a friggin' World title in an 18 second squash match.
I mean, how can Daniel Bryan or that World title possibly be taken seriously after that??
What a way to piss away great talent and a World championship....Wow....This is something I'd expect to see happen in WCW...And now, I guess we can expect the same crap to happen in WWE as well...Is Russo back or what??

He cut a promo saying that Sheamus would make a mistake and he would capitalize like all the times before earlier on the pre-show I think it was. Sheamus in turn did that to Daniel Bryan, it made sense as much as I didn't like it.

Ehh...I still think it was ing bullsh*t, but whatever you say... I have grown to legitimately dislike Sheamus over the past several months, because I've come to realize that he's simply not interesting in any way, shape or form. His matches are consistently boring as , and his promos are all the same. I was really hoping that this feud and match would help bolster his character, but all it's done is proven to me that even given a high-profile, main-event feud, he still can't get anything interesting done. And then to feed the most interesting character currently in the WWE to him in an 18 second squash match, in the process giving him one of the top titles in the WWE? Well, you'll have to excuse me if I don't really give a damn that it made kayfabe sense.

I see it playing off like this...he's gonna feud with The Big Show. Why else would they make a HUGE deal about how Show was only champ for 45 seconds only to lose it to Bryan...?...so they could have Bryan lose his championship in 18 seconds the same night Show WINS a championship

Daniel Bryan still gets a rematch... and SmackDown now has a heel GM. He will get the championship back.
BUT, that was a terrible moment as a fan of Daniel Bryan. It might not be this way for a lot of you, but I was looking forward to that match more than any other match. My favorite wrestler's first WrestleMania match! (last year's Dark Match doesn't really count) So it was extremely disappointing for me. So much that it made it hard for me to enjoy the rest of the show. I didn't even really watch Orton/Kane cause I felt like murdering someone.
I think what's going to happen is D. Bryan is going to blame it all on A.J. So all in all, it will just make him more and more hated.
Next Pay Per View is Extreme Rules... so I wonder what kind of stipulation will be made for the Sheamus/D. Bryan rematch. I'm sure Big Johnny will make it favor Daniel Bryan.
....then Sheamus will probably regain it at Over The Limit.

My comment is - whatever happened to the importance of winning the Royal Rumble?

It doesn't matter if it made sense or not. Could of done the same finish and gave them 12-15 minutes at least. Bryan & Sheamus got screwed again.

Aside from my own personal reasons for hating it. What it did for me was think that the rest of Mania was going to be crap, other than the 'taker/hhh, Punk/Jericho, and cena/rock (which all the commercials were killing for me too).
Being a fan of Bryan's, and watching that happen made me literally yell at my tv WTF? If that was their goal, then bravo to the bookers. Otherwise it was the dumbest thing I have seen in wrestling in a while (not counting TNA of course lol).

They made a fool out of the belt, the royal rumble winners, Daniel Bryan(made him look like a paper champion), and all Daniel Bryan and Sheamus fans who payed there hard money to see a WHC match but instead get a 18 second match
Being a huge Daniel Bryan fan I was pissed as this was one of the match's I was looking foward to alot. They gave us crappy bulid up and a crappy 18 second joke match. So I was really pissed when it happened
No excuses, I don't give a crap about kayfabe I still wanted to see a REAL WRESTLING match ATLEAST give us 10 minutes.

I hated it because this match was one of the few I was really looking forward to.
Poor Bryan/Sheamus.. They should never even attempt to wrestle at WM again. Apparently it isn't suppose to happen..

This was a match I knew would end quick but hoped was wrong. This had all the potential to be match of the night. They screwed us 2 years and screwed these 2 this year and last year. They have made Daniel Bryan into a freaking joke. They are looking at any oppurtunity to screw him over. They fired him for choking with a tie. A few months later they book that with Lawler doing it to Michael Cole. They had him lose every match on nXt. They gave him the gimmick of a nerd. He should be showing intensity and aggression like he knows how. He's better then most the roster in the ring. If they let him actually show his move set and aggression he would be more unstoppable then even Big Show. Daniel Bryan should be given a gimmick similar to Angle's last wwe gimmick.
Have him challenge Jack Swagger and out wrestle him and make him tap and then not let go. I have seen enough of his heel wwe work and his independent work to know he's better on the mic then they wanted us to think he is. He needs a cocky face gimmick similar to Punks but cockier and more aggressive and more in the ring. Basically they need to give him his Best in the world gimmick from ROH mixed with more intensity and proving it night in and out.

It wasn't even a match I was looking forward to, but for a World title match it was pathetic. 5 minutes of Sheamus dominating DB would have been better.

I don't know who I feel sorry for more....The fans that paid and wanted to see that match, Daniel Bryan for jobbing out as the World champ in his first WrestleMania in 18 seconds or Sheamus for winning a useless title.
They all lose, if you think about it.

I just think Bryan lost so quickly as a way for Vince to say "hows that for a World heavyweight champion? screw you Indy IWC fanboys, I run this poop!" sadly...

It was terrible.
So terrible that the whole match including celebrations and the kiss can fit into a gif.

I just think Bryan lost so quickly as a way for Vince to say "hows that for a World heavyweight champion? screw you Indy IWC fanboys, I run this poop!" sadly... Yes because multi-millionaire Vince McMahon is a petty bunghole who spends his days sticking it to IWC smarks... yup... that's him. Seriously I almost didn't wanna come back onto WF until weeks after this Wrestlemania just because I was pretty sure everyone here would overreact about the outcome of the match. I didn't hate it whatsoever.
