This has been sitting in a box in my guest bedroom closet.....for ages It hasnt been set up in a while. Now 2 sets of ropes are stretched out (like they're too long). Last time it was set up the ropes were fine though??? the ropes have just been sitting in a ziploc, not sure how they got so loose. Just taking pics so I can put it in the Classifieds. Or on eBay. Found the suction cups and the lock for the steel cage door. I can't find the 2 tongs it came with to hold the wrestlers. They're round here somewhere. Does ne body else have this? Think I got it off eBay back in like 1997. Is it worth anything?

AHHHH,
I love this ring with all of my heart, maybe because it was my first. I had thought about buying another one for years but never have for one reason or another. I used to search for them on ebay & remember them going for around $50 loose. I saw one MIB at a wrestling store for $100. But those were both the tan canvas rings, not sure about yours.

Remco was ahead of the times with their toy line with the authentic outfits and cloth ring even though they re-used the same body for just about every guy. What was the norm for Remco was very rare with other companies. Remco got a lot of greatness out of a year or two.

Wow, memories! I had that back in the '80s when I was around 4-5. No clue what ever happened to it, though I suspect as I obtained more and more LJNs in the later '80s (and then Hasbros, of course) I no longer cared about the "old guys" of the AWA. I had a bunch along w/the lifesize belt/figure holder, which did indeed survive long past the rest of my AWA items.

I'll try and post more pics later.
Yes the ring mat is made of some type of fabric.
I grew up on LJN's....but I always had Rick Martel and Baron von Raschke. My mom must have bought them or something, cuz they were the only AWA figs I ever had. Some time in middle school I got on this AWA Remco kick and bought some figures. Then I got this ring. Had to be 15 yrs ago

Had to be 15 yrs ago same here. my parents friend knew I was a wrestling fan and had LJN's and since he never knew which ones I had he got me AWA figures as he worked at a toy distributor. I had The Road Warriors, the Referee (still have), the freebirds, scott hall, and stan hansen
