I can't wait for it. I hope it's gonna be good. Everybody look up my other posts about it. I think we need a little saving here in the collector community. I sense a general tiredness of what's out there, and what's not out there, right now. Am I right?

What the bird poop Batman! I also do not need saved. I am completely happy with the elite line and even some basic style figs. I could care less about a new scale. All those smaller figs ever did for me was get looked at for a day then tossed to the side in a bin where the resided for the next 10 years. I dont think the elites could get any better or worse. Love 'em!

If the new scale is going to be anything like Mattel's other small scale figs (especially Green Lantern) the only thing this scale will be saving is my wallet.

I think the op is talking about the new scale that Mattel will be releasing in 2013. I just hope they stack the lineup and give us legends. It will be interesting to see what it looks like

I don't care for the new scale either. I'm perfectly happy with the current scale of Elites and Basics.

the only thing a new scale is saving is my bank account
im perfectly happy with my collection consisting of Basics & Elites. If Mattel got it's distribution figured out to where retail stores got new sets on a more consistent basis...and every retailer got the same sets at least once....thats all i need.

So we are looking at another inch and a bit. Not that much difference

Something I need to see before I can judge. The new scale will probably be like the Rumblers for me, I'll pick up a few but probably won't collect the majority of the line since I've already committed so much to Basics and Elites.

Naw, I'm good. Love what mattel is doing at the moment. No need to change it. Thanks though.

wekk judging by all the negative responses, I think mattel should just ax this whole "new scale" BUT I FORGOT.... MATTEL'S MAIN MARKETING AUDIENCE ARE THE KIDDIES!! damn sorry guys just pissed off at the news that Australia is not going to be getting Elites.. Because Mattel Australia agree that Rumblers are the better sellers for kids. which is obvious when a) Your retailers price Rumblers at 10 USD while Elites are 32 USD b) Each month a new series of Rumblers are in while we had Elite series 6 Goldusts, Shad and JTG clogging up every store for a year and a half

Well, as the author of this post, here's what I have in mind....and I already posted a previous post about every detail I would want in this new scale which I will bring back later...
I'm just thinking MAYBE everyone would be happy with it because it may have room for the entire roster plus legends...because...they would be cheaper than we're paying for elites and basics now thus they might sell better at retail which would mean we would get more of them, and I'm just picturing like a GI Joe type figure with every accessory making them complete figures to buy and collect. More detail to come later with what I've got in mind. They would be cheaper, and they would make more room to collect more since they would be smaller, and 3 3/4" isn't too small to detail the suckers out, or their accessories/rings. Look at the star wars figures like that, they're phenomenal. I just think it would be perfect for someone like me who has done this my entire life, and has limited space and limited cash. Not to replace the standard elites and basics we all do get today, but I just think it would be cool and maybe we could even get names such as The Gobbeldy Gooker, Superstar Billy Graham, Sunny, The Briscoes, Bruno Sammartino, names from way back and the names that Mattel has said they won't make because they won't sell. If they were done right and were cheap enough, I bet they would. That's just my opinion guys.
Btw, I hate the rumblers and flexforce crap too. The reason why the rumblers are selling so well is bc they're making most of the roster and they're cheaper to collect, and honestly the accessories are pretty cool too, not that I buy them bc I don't.
