Sorry guys I'm new to the boards and am not really sure where this would go. Is there a place where I can place a request for a couple of Hasbro figure customs?

Well, you're in a close area for that. There's no real request thread, but you could get in contact with the customizers who do make them and see if they're willing to take on the task. You can check the main customs board and see who the guys are that are posting them to get in contact with..

Yes the Customs board is a good way to see the quality of work which is wise before requesting the an order. You could also make the request on the Classifieds board, there though you would want to ask for pictures or a site of the person's past work.
