Cheers. To my knowledge there are, but the indy wrestling scene is very small...can't think of any promotions off the top of my head, but I'll check out what I can when possible. I found one off the interwebs melbournecitywrestling.com.au/Looks legit. They just had The Villain too. Marty's everywhere these days!

Mystery Vortex sounds like it was great honestly.
Not happy about one outcome though.

Not going to spoil the results, but PWG is getting a lot of sh*t for their business practices coming out of Mystery Vortex IV.
Apparently guys booked for PWG on Friday bailed on obligations to other promotions, PWG oversold tickets and had to give refunds or tickets to another show.
I don't want to exaggerate here, but between these incidents, running a ridiculously small building, being slow on getting shows out on DVD/Streaming...I've noticed a lot of people on the independent scene start to turn on PWG...

The first part isn't so surprising honestly. PWG is one of the "places to be" as far as Indy wrestling goes. Guys know that there are more eyes on PWG than 90% of the indies in the US.

For the time being they are the place to be. Promotions like Evolve and RevPro have that priority as well. There's more places than ever to work and even my local promotion AAW has made the jump to a top-mid tier indy.

Hell I'd argue that Beyond is starting to become what PWG was in 2010-2014. It's time for PWG to step up to the plate or they're going to be our generations ECW.

OI4K (Callihan, Dave and Jake Crist) vs SuperKliq Lio Rush vs. Ricochet THATS IS ING SICK! This is a HUGE step in the right direction for PWG. Already beyond excited for this next show. Edit: Riddle/Cobb vs Unbreakable FN Machines Rhodes vs Trevor Lee Scurll vs. Jay White Chuck Taylor vs Zack Sabre Jr Fenix vs Trent? Damn great card. I love that they're bringing in OI4K and Lio, now if only they would stop ing around and bring David Starr and Shane Strickland in. Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz as well.

Having seen OI4K in my local promotion (AAW) for over a year now, their floor-ceiling is crazy large. I have a feeling they'll do fine. BTW, I'm pretty sure Jake & Dave have been on a PWG show or two...
Lio Rush vs Ricochet easily has the chance to be match of the night.
Riddle & Cobb are great individually and together, but I'm really sick of Brian Cage in PWG. Over/Under on botched spots has to be 3 1/2 (at least).
Cody is a waste as a babyface (I'm not a fan unless he's a heel), but Evil Trevor should get a good match out of him.
Scurll vs White and Fenix vs Trent are going to be a blast!
Here's my take on the main event: This match will be 3 Stars (at best), unless Sabre goes full heel here. I still think Scurll winning the title is the way to go, but ZSJ could get a HUGE boost as PWG champ if he cheats and demolishes Chuck. He's been a lackluster champion (excluding his matches against Roddy) and needs something big to generate buzz as the main guy. I've always said he'd be an awesome heel because he has that smarmy prick persona in the ring down 100%. As PWG goes so go the majority of independents, so here's hoping Zach Sabre Jr becomes the new d**khead he needs to become.

Are there any good Jay White matches I don't of?
Because why would they contract him?

Why don't PWG move out of legion hall?

They want to still be a "punk rock" promotion. They've run other venues but currently they have no interest in moving to another building, or streaming live, or running more shows.
That stubbornness is one of the biggest reasons I'm down on them right now.

They have their flavor of ice cream and they have their market for that flavor... that's all they care about. Which is fine.

Ricochet is booked for the next PWG show on March 18th. I've said this for a few years now, but I'd love for them to run more often. Otherwise, they're kind of just another promotion.

The talent available now just doesn't have that 'must watch' factor for me...I imagine you blokes are the same...? It's not even that. They simply book great matches. PWG hasn't really built a solid angle in years.

The closest thing to a story post-Mount Rushmore 2.0, was Chuck Taylor's undefeated streak... Yeah and Mount Rushmore 2.0 went to crap when Super Dragon got hurt and then once again when we didn't get a payoff to the Roddy/Cole angle they were building up. That was a cluster if I have ever seen one. They have the right talent at their disposal right now. They need to start doing something to get people invested. I honestly have not watched one show from 2016 yet despite having all of them on Blu Ray.

It's kinda sad when there's a highlight video of their main event before there's a trailer available.

Looks like PWG is finally building an angle again. Good job boys.
Last nights show sounds great other then the Cody/Lee BS. I'm glad looking forward to seeing where things go.
