I'd deffinetly go with Roseanne. The ending actually ruined the show for me. xD

Yeah killing off John Goodman was one thing but then telling me the daughters were with the opposite guys was even more absurd.
I loved Chuck and the Finale was good but the ending leaved something to be desired with Sarah not remembering who Chuck was definitively. It's like they hinted but you don't know.
I expect LOST & The Sopranos to be mentioned but I actually enjoyed both of those as well.

Id say the worst series finales are the ones that never even get made. You watch a show, you grow to like a show, and then they cancel the show. So you get emotionally involved with these characters and then they vanish. So I'd say a poopy finale is better than no finale. No finale is the worst.
Just to name a few shows I liked that just vanished with no finale what so ever..........
Gary and Mike (the claymation cartoon/show) Do Over Sliders Brisco County Jr.

I actually liked the ending to Roseanne --
As far as shows that I wasn't a huge fan of the finale -- I can't think of a show I HATED how it ended...I don't think I've ever felt slapped in the face by a show that was given a proper closing episode...
Smallville could have ended better. It had such a strong last couple seasons, then to get all CGI except the last 5 seconds -- meh...
I remember Wonder Years being the most haunting though. I, to this day credit that series finale for taking my innocence away. For weeks after it, I was depressed because he and Winnie didn't end up together...
I expect poor endings from Family Guy, Simpsons and Two and a Half Men, when they all finally end. Sad, because they were all great at one point.

I knew a little girl and she was my gf all of childhood. But then teen years came and she married some other guy. So I can see where the Wonder years finale was true to life.

Same here, i think most of the people bad mouthing it, watched a few eps or a season or two, knew it was finishing, watched the final scene on youtube then thought, So they were all dead in the first place? THIS SHOW. Anyway I don't know I haven't really seen alot of finales, most of the ones i think are bad are because the show got cancelled on a cliffhanger like Heroes or My name is earl.

I'd stab at Heroes, which fell off a cliff well before that anyway. Prison Break also pretty underwhelming. 24 was strange. Chuck went quietly. I expect LOST & The Sopranos to be mentioned but I actually enjoyed both of those as well. LOST finale was good. I'm convinced people didn't get the show. Yep. The value of well written characters that are consistent is lost on many.

Last Summer I watched the entire Entourage series up to season 7 and then subsequently watched season 8 as it aired. I have to say that so far that season finale was the worst I had ever seen. Everything involving Ari was fine, but I was so pissed that everything worked out for everybody, not because I didn't want them to, but just because they shouldn't have. E slept with Sloan's step-mom and STILL got her back in the end. They spent the last 4 episodes introducing Alice Eve's character and positioning her as a strong female reporter who is resistant to even going on a date with Vince's character to them going on some dream date (OFF SCREEN) and then announcing that they're getting married. It made no sense.

Family Matters. Ignoring that the show jumped the shark anyway, it deserved a much better series finale than it got.

For example I hate that 8 Simple Rules never got a proper ending. I also agree with Roseanne. In fact the entire last season was horrible. It killed what made the show good and I haven't enjoyed it as much since.

Chappelle show. He wasn't even th host of his last ucking season. There shouldn't even have been a third season, because Dave Chappelle didn't want to do it anymore, but Comedy Central got greedy and aired unused clips so they could make money. It's a shame really, as that is one of the funniest shows of all-time.

Hated That's 70 Show's Finale, It could no way save how terrible that last season was.
My Name is Earl wasn't a "Terrible" Finale, well I wouldn't call it a finale though the last Ep left in a clifthanger :/
