Pardon me if this has already been stated, but are we going to get to vote on six more legends for next year or is mattel doing a "wait and see" kinda thing? If they are gonna let us vote again, when would that voting start due to figure development having to be well in advance?

Does it really matter? Judging from the lineup we got, our votes didn't matter anyway.

If we do get to vote, we will probably find out during the panel in July like we did last year.

I don't think that's true at all - the voting process was horribly flawed because some people voted over and over again (for Arn & Tully, I believe). But I'm wondering, who do you think got robbed? I voted for Crush and Doink instead of Arn & Tully, but I didn't think all my picks would get made.

Honestly I say 1 vote per person/IP address whatever. Just long as people cant sit there and non stop vote for who they want. I personally didnt vote for arn or tully. Doink was my number 1 want and thought there was a good shot he would be in the top 6 but i guess i was wrong.

Doink, Honky Tonk Man, Brutus Beefcake, 123 kid, legion of Doom (counts as 2 votes), hart foundation (same) , big john studd, jyd, Green Dibiase, Purple Taker, among others, need to be on next years list for sure!

I rather have them not let us vote instead of a flawed voting system that lets multiple votes from the same voter.
However, I didn't mind the lineup this year so I rather have Mattel choose what the think is best.

Well most of the figures that won the poll were figures we knew were coming in Series 6 (Andre & DDP) or saw protos/salesman samples of on ebay (Arn/Tully/Austin/Magnum) prior to the vote. And only Magnum & Austin didn't make it...So I think all 18 figures in the vote were either coming in the next sets of Legends singles & 2-Packs for the year had it not been canceled.
But they need to make it a 1 time vote per person this time instead of letting people come back every day and vote again and again. That said I just hope we still get the Magnum along with Muraco & Santana.

Doink was my number 1 pick to last year. I notice a lot of ppl voted for Doink it seems yet he never made the list, nor has had a flashback figure drop yet. If we do get to vote next year, bet your bottom this time im gonna sit there all the time voting for my fav's to so we dont get stuck with garbage for another year in a row.

i wouldnt even participate in a 'vote as little or as much as you like' system again... ridiculous waste of everyones time i say, some guys admitted to voting 100-300 times a day.... I cant do that everyday for a month.... not even if i didnt have a job or kids
and the nwa fans and old school fans are pleased with the results but can you imagine how pissed they would have been if Savio Vega replaced tully blanchard or arn anderson because of a flawed voting system?
im on the fence with last years vote, i really only want bundy, I wanted Crush , Doink and an official elite Dibiase a lot more but the lineup isnt horrible , i just hope next years lineup is a LOT better

Seriously, why? I don't care if we get to vote or not, I want the Matty thing to keep happening so we have more options.

I hope we get Legends in 2013 they should include TagTeams as well every 2 months on the tag teams and 12 legends a year. If they can get a DC subscription and Voltron subscription I think a WWE one could be very good this time they need to advertise it more.
Some of the guys that didn't win last year should be issued as exclusives or Flashbacks.
our votes mattered very little I bet most of the figures that won were pretty far into production.

I remember a couple guys who said that they voted 100-150 times or more said they were going to make sure they got the horsemen because they were their highest wants and they felt they had to be made or it would be unjust. Im sure others did the same for doink or crush but i heard it far more for Arn, Tully, Magnum and Windham. I remember a couple guys had DDP in their multiple vote list as well . I thought about multiple voting to try and keep it even but i realized it was gonna be a huge waste of time and prob wouldnt matter much.
IF they do the Voting system again, One Vote per I.P address would work a hell of a lot better, Its useless to Mattel to get multiple votes anyhow cuz it doesnt tell them anything about how many people want said certain character

I too voted for Doink and M$M. No way the voting was legit. Hope next year it is fixed and we get more options. It would also be nice to have extra options for certain gimmicks. For example I would have voted for Crush in Kona Crush gear, but not Demolition. We should know exactly what gimmick will be with each wrestler.

I'd be happy if they gave us the following Legends on Matty Collector:
Doink M$M Magnum TA Big John Studd Honky Tonk Man JYD
And the following tag teams, even 1 or 2 of them a year would be great:
Hart Foundation Steiner Brothers Powers of Pain Natural Disasters Rock & Roll Express Midnight Express
and the following in Flashbacks:
Purple gloved Undertaker Jerry "the King" Lawler Shawn Michaels Mankind/Cactus Jack Road Dogg X-Pac NWO Giant Goldberg

I'm pretty sure the poll was rigged

It was just ridiculous (imo) that you could vote in the poll any number of times... I think everyone should have been allowed just the one vote. Make it count.
If Mattel are pleased with the 2012 Legends sales, I'm pretty sure we'd get a poll for 2013... hopefully it would be made up from the guys that weren't picked last time (Doink, M$M, Crush etc.) - and 6 new guys. And hopefully, Mattel will just let everyone vote once(!).

I honestly think I only voted once or twice the first time around. I'm pretty sure everyone I voted for got made except for Crush. Bundy is the only one of the 5 I didn't vote for and won't be buying. I'm sure MDT will let us know how it's going at SDCC. All that type of voting does is set Mattel up for failure and for us to not get anymore Legends figures. Like if Bundy doesn't sell well, or anyone else for that matter, Mattel goes, "well you voted for him." When in reality it may have been the crazy obsessive compulsiveness of a handful of collectors. Not really right imo.

you know, I appreciate Mattel at least trying to keep Legends alive...but how the hell "Bundy" won that poll over some of the other names, even guys who never got Jakks Classics....I gotta question the validity of the poll itself.
not to mention the ridiculous cost of these figures now with so little in the way of accessories. it's just not worth it. Magnum TA? Savio Vega? Faarooq? I'd gladly spend $30 on any of those guys because I don't already have figures of them. Mattel should have focused on bigger names and/or superstars Jakks wasn't able to make.
the price and piss poor character selection, we're not getting any more Legends in 2013.
