Hey, I just posted this video on my YouTube account. It's of my various signed WWF LJN posters. Does anyone else out there have these signed?? I've always liked the WWF LJN posters and they make a great item to get signed if you've got nothing else. What are your opinions on them?? Write back and let me know. Thanks!!

I love 'em signed! I'd definitely frame and hang them!

Those would be awesome to display on a wall in a collection room. The only ones I ever had were the ones sealed up in MOC figures or the ones that I got from the original purchases. Surprisingly they were all in pretty good condition but at the time of my collecting I had nowhere to put them, so I ended up selling them off in order to get other items for my collection.

suprised u dont have a roddy piper LJN poster signed when he was at wrestlereunion..if u didnt have one, shoulda let me know as i have an extra one I did have and bring the WWF LJN Roddy Piper poster with me to WrestleReunion, however that would've cost an extra $20 to get signed and believe it or not, I spent $120 just on Piper alone!! I got my MOC WWF LJN signed, MOC WWF Hasbro, MOC WWE Jakks 1 of 1,800 Exclusive, MOC WWE Jakks CS #4, MOC WWE Jakks 1 of 3,000 and an 8x10 photo all signed by Piper. But man, meeting him was so special. He was SO nice and he took his time with each fan and talked to them for a bit and when I shook his hand, I pulled him in and gave him a hug. That was so nice, I can't even tell you. Without question, Piper is THE nicest wrestler I've ever met thus far and I've met most of the top stars of all like like Bret, HBK, Hogan, Flair, Undertaker, Foley, Punk, and Orton. Aside from the WWF LJN poster, I also brought along a Mint in Box WWF LJN Giant 16" Roddy Piper figure, however the plastic covering has come loose/unglued just from being old. It's still there, just a bit loose. I'm kinda kicking myself for not getting those items signed, but it is what it is. Hopefully he comes around this area again because I'll be there to meet him once again.

Rad story! Often, people you admire can disappoint you when you finally meet them.

I spent $120 just on Piper alone!! He was SO nice I'm sure he was nice. You paid him $120 to sign his name a handful of times. Think about that...

There are wrestlers who get paid for autographs and don't give fans that Piper-like experience. A fan who pays him for one autographs get no less special treatment than a person who pays $120. It's the type of person he is and he has a very good reputation among fans who have met him.

Very cool collection.
Fun trivia about Bret's signature- the 4 little dots next to Hitman in his signature (as well as the 4 hearts or stars he always had on his gear) represent each of his children- Jade, Dallas, Blade and Beans. At one point, before his wife had his youngest, it was 3 hearts/stars.

I spent $120 just on Piper alone!! He was SO nice I'm sure he was nice. You paid him $120 to sign his name a handful of times. Think about that... It wasn't like that at all. He wasn't about the money and I don't think he cared one bit whatever he was getting. Also, it wasn't like I went right up to him and slapped the money in his hand. Quite the contrary actually. This was at WrestleReunion where you had to buy actual physical tickets for a certain guests autograph. For Piper, I bought 6 tickets at $20 each and then presented them to the security guy at Piper's booth. I can't stand when a wrestler ONLY cares about the money they are making and doesn't care about the fan interaction experience. That really bugs me and that happened to me on one occasion and I'll forever be soured on Christy Hemme. She was rude and only cared about the money. Sure, she signed my stuff, but in the end, she was only there for the money and that was her only care. I don't give a damn if it's a free signing she's doing next time, I am not going. She ain't worth it. She was, by far, the worst wrestling personality I've met so far and I've met A LOT over the years. My favorites have been "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, King Kong Bundy, Rick Martel, Tito Santana, Bret Hart, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Ax & Smash Demolition, Kamala, Chris Kayon, Maven and Lance Storm to name just a few.
