I think there is a spam store up on 59 in Nanuet www.spam.com/retstordiran.htmlmakes sense why the toys r us on 17, 4, 46 are usually picked clean of any rare figures. and not just WWE stuff but other stuff like adventure time plush and even the angry bird space stuff.

Ah, good ol' Tara Toys. They make carrying cases for everything.

I used to see the local scalper all the time. He would always try to act like he is my best friend. When i found elite 12 Kane he kept asking me if i was going to buy it. I went by his flea market booth last week and he told me he was done with selling wrestling stuff.

I run into scalpers and dealers all the time and none of them are from around here. Around Christmas we have guys that come down here from Chicago and clear pegs, we have many people from Indy, Kokomo, Fort Wayne because for some reason we get more stock than any of those places. A few weeks ago at a public auction we had a guy from Cincinnati (4 hours away) who came to get some comic books to sell. Sadly it is just a part of the hobby now.
I like the case and may get it to hold my weapons and ring gear.

That's where their actual "walk in" store is. In the "My Gym" Shopping center. And their online store/warehouse is on "Spook Rock RD" in Airmont NY which is about 5 miles away from their Rt59 store. Like I said I've seen them in stores up in Middletown NY and as far down in NJ as Livingston NY, Rockaway NJ & Totowa NJ. Oh and with the Totowa store (rt46) & the one in Wayne (HB TPK) there's a local scalper from Wayne that hits there too. He used to have an add in the Lee's or Tomarts magazine and would always go to that "Collectibles Show" at the firehouse on Parish drive in Wayne that is (Or was) held on the last (or first) Sunday of every month. I haven't been to that show in about 10 years.

I think it is a good concept. You could store the loose figures you do not have on display so they would not get damaged.

Now If I can just figure out when they put out new stuff maybe I'd have a chance in actually getting something. I always figured Zapp comics in wayne was the one who was picking the stores but I never actually went int there to see if they are selling wwe elite stuff.

Lol when I work at Toys R Us I remember this customer asking if we had box full of hot wheels he can buy, so I asked my manager and she said no, because he's a scalper. Lol My Toys R Us are aware of scalpers and won't sell much to them.

I used to deliver to (and buy my comics from) Zapped Comics before I got hurt at UPS. And let me say the owner (Ben I think that was his name) totally represented what was wrong with the hobby. One day I delivered a bunch of cases of Hasbro's Total Justice cases to him and he tells his employee to pull all the Batman, Aquaman & Flash figures from the cases and replace them with all Green Lantern (He was the pegwarmer) and while I was there waiting for them to sign he calls his distributor up and lays into the guy telling them he's not accepting the cases because the distributors employees were crooks. He claimed to the guy on the phone that he just opened the cases and he was shocked to see that someone at the took all the good figures out and replaced them with all Green Lantern. I just shook my head in disgust and never bought a comic from them again. Instead I went to a store that was closer to home called "Funny Books" in Lake Hiawatha. I miss them.

He is also someone who is ashamed of the hobby and once a month he has a house party. He then stores his figures in my house and I have to "take care of them" while he is doing whatever it is that he does. I'm straight edge (for real no trending here) so I don't "party" so I have no clue what he does with his free time while he isn't hanging around me. Is he having S - E - ? Lol when I work at Toys R Us I remember this customer asking if we had box full of hot wheels he can buy, so I asked my manager and she said no, because he's a scalper. Lol My Toys R Us are aware of scalpers and won't sell much to them. Sometimes I worry if the store employees think I'm a scalper or ebayer (I'm not). For the longest time I used to hit TRU at opening and found mostly what I was looking for. Since the holidays I leave 90% empty handed. I'm getting paranoid thinking they're holding back the good stuff until after I leave.

I'm getting paranoid thinking they're holding back the good stuff until after I leave. I have finally started to talk to the people at my local TRU, because they know I work at the comic shop across the street. I really felt the need for the guys who stock and work the floor regularly that I wasn't there to scalp, but that I really collected. We don't scalp at my store, we have a diamond account and get all the toys we need from them. Having a toy store in the same shopping center actually reduces the amount of toys we have much like our reduced manga section since Barnes and Noble is right down the street. Not all comic shops are out to screw ya, and I want you all to know that.

I saw that spam guy... some tall guy, bald... like twice in my outings. Both times I stuck it to him good... first time was with 2-packs 5, I beat him to the good figures in that set... he looked like he was ready to cry. Most recently was yesterday... got a case pulled from the stockroom, got WM Heritage Eddie/Warrior... walked past him, flashed the figures... paid, and the dude actually watched me to see if I was gonna put them down. lmaoooo... competition is stiff where you guys are at!
