went to TRU today and spotted this, it holds 20 figures, thought some people would want to see this, I think the price was 18.99 but keep in mind the TRU I go to is ridiculously expensive so its possible it will be cheaper elsewhere around the country also there may be some hope yet for people still looking for the Best of PPV Elite set, I saw at least 3 full cases today of the elites, they had 5-6 Bryans, 6 Brets and of course Cena and Triple H, but before today I hadn't seen them in at least a month. when I got into the isle I saw the 6 Brets, didn't need any cause I found mine in March but I just thought it was cool to see them again because I know its been a struggle for people to find them. So anyway, I turn away for a few seconds to check out the Marvel stuff and here comes an old lady with a list and talking on her phone asking about which people she should pick up. Next thing ya know she scoops up 5 of the Best of Brets, I imagine she was buying them for someone to sell on eBay or something like that, I could swear I've seen her before at a Walmart near me scalping several elite series 11 Punk and Miz figures when those first hit. Kind of pissed me off especially knowing how much of a pain it is for people to find these, with the 1 Bret she left behind (presumably because she didn't see it amongst the Elite 13 figures they had) I took and placed in front of all the other figures so at least 1 person can get lucky and find Bret

Sounds like the mother of the owner of T0y W!z. And I saw that case along with an ugly looking clock with a large Rock figurine on it.

I saw that spam guy... some tall guy, bald... like twice in my outings. Both times I stuck it to him good... first time was with 2-packs 5, I beat him to the good figures in that set... he looked like he was ready to cry. Most recently was yesterday... got a case pulled from the stockroom, got WM Heritage Eddie/Warrior... walked past him, flashed the figures... paid, and the dude actually watched me to see if I was gonna put them down. lmaoooo...

(I'm not sure what he does at TW I think he's a manager, but one day at TRU we were talking and he told me they had him driving down to Philly and hitting every store he saw on the way for them) I've personally seen them hit stores as far north as Middletown NY and down in Essex & Passaic Countys in NJ.

I saw that case today too. It was 12.99 and it wasn't a Mattel product.

The belt is part of the case right? yeah the belt is part of the case, doesn't come off, you can just spin the logo on the front, and when you open the case it has 4 compartments

That's the old style of the belt, too, that still has the "MON-NITE RAW" side plate.

As messed up as it is I kinda dig the look of that case. If it didnt have the belt it would be even better and could almost pass as an entrance stage for the figures.

Yea that figure case would be cool if I was 6 years old and I was taking my figures to school for show and tell.

Here is the product on toysrus.com It's 11.99 on there and it's by Tara Toys, not Mattel as I stated earlier. www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12539344In other news, I will probably get one of these for my nephew. I would rather have a Mattel one though.

I don't have a problem with scalpers in my area. However I do have quite the issue with a friend of mine. I'm a serious collector who actually has a passion for the hobby. But my friend is not and he basically goes out every weekend and purchases figures I either have wanted or are currently looking for at the moment. Once he has them, over a short period of time basically ruins them with rough horse play or just brings them over to show them off repeatedly. I understand you are allowed to buy what you please. But knowing I'm a serious collector and he just wants something to waste money on (his exact words) kinda irritates me at times.
He is also someone who is ashamed of the hobby and once a month he has a house party. He then stores his figures in my house and I have to "take care of them" while he is doing whatever it is that he does. I'm straight edge (for real no trending here) so I don't "party" so I have no clue what he does with his free time while he isn't hanging around me. But I'm not ashamed of the hobby. I have been collecting all my life and now I have my figures proudly displayed in my living room in a glass case.
But other than that, my local stores rarely get in shipments and when they do the pegs are normally cleaned off the following day by fans and children expect for the occasional shelf warmers.
I'm interested in the display case, I didn't see it today when I went shopping at TRU.

That looks terrible, but I can see parents definitely buying one for their kid. Cena is still very marketable with the kids (although the adults hate him) Mattel, WizToy etc etc isn't here to please a select group of Cena haters by putting Daniel Bryan on the cover, they want to make money. And if making money means putting Cena on a stupid piece of merchandise then so be it.
