For those of you who are EWR, TEW, or any other wresting sim enthusiasts, I was just wondering what fantasy situations you may have made a reality? For example...
In 1992/1993 WWF (of EWR), I did the following...
- Created a WWF Cruiserweight title, and signed talent such as Jushin Liger, Sabu, RVD, Rey Mysterio, Lightning Kid, Eddy G, Psychosis, 2 Cold Scorpio, Malenko Bros, Jerry Lynn (basically any lightweight who competed in real-time ECW or WCW).
- Signed away Steve Austin & Brian Pillman of WCW, formed the Hollywood Blondes, and put them in a Four Horseman stable with Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect.
- Stole Dustin Rhodes from WCW, and gave him the Goldust gimmick two years early. He was my top babyface for a time.
- Signed Lion Heart (Jericho) and Lance Storm, intending to bring The Thrillseekers to WWF. But when Storm took forever to get out of WWF Developmental, I turned Jericho heel and put him with The Horsemen. Storm & Dean Malenko became a team, after Joe Malenko retired.
- Signed Tammy Sytch and made her manager of a stable featuring HBK, Paul Levesque, Lightning Kid, and Diesel & Razor Ramon (then-Diamond Exchange of WCW).
- Put almost all my competitors out of business, save for National level Smoky Mountain. Signed free agents such as Steiners, Lex Luger and Ron Simmons.
- By 1995, the biggest heel stars were the Horsemen, especially Jericho and then-current WWF champ, Stunning Steve Austin.
I'd still be doing it, if my laptop's motherboard hadn't been french fried. Once I find a new one, I'll put my hard drive in and continue.
So, what have you done that may have been impossible in the real wrestling world?
