I'm expecting to be moving into a new place very soon. This has me very excited as it's going to be a major upgrade from what I'm in now.
Currently on my wall I've got 50 various MOC figures- mostly 1 of 1,000's, few debut guys, etc. Moving into a new place, I'm not going to start off by nailing 50 holes into the wall. I do need some help here. What do I do? I'm lost on an idea to display these MOC items. My loose collection will be fine like it is now. Ideas/suggestions?

There's this tool that puts pegs in the wall but it supposedly doesn't leave holes. You could also try Command clear hooks.

I tried the Command Hooks, they work but starts to get expensive with the more MOCs you accumulate. I'd get longer shelves: Line your MOCs up kind of angled if you know what I'm talking about. You will still have holes in your wall, but considerably less than 50.

get those double sided wall mounts, stick 3 of them on the back of the carding...2 along the top, 1 in the middle at the bottom No holes.
I think 3M makes them. Get the good ones, or even velcro ones

Im dealing with the same problem as well. I want to display my MOC Legends but I dont want to put any holes in my wall and Im worried that other things might take the paint off the wall or damage the carding on figures.

get a shelf just like they use at the store. I think its called pegboard. Every store uses them....i think u can buy them at a hardware store or something.....cuz ppl use them to hang tools on. Try Ace Hardware, Home Depot or Lowes..

try this, Go to Ur local harware store and purchase some coark boards. Then attach them to the walls with screws. This will make less holes and U can use thumb tacks in the coark to hang your mocs. U could even use the double stick 3m tape to hang the coark if U don't wanna use the screws.

I still think the command clear hooks would be best because you can take them down and rearrange them accordingly.

Just make sure when you make the move, or I should say, when i moved, I transported all of them in my car trunk, just in case. The spot i was going to put them on in the truck would have gottn them smashed

Somehow get shelves that hang on a wall and set them there.

If you want to keep them MOC and displayed then I'd say thumb tacs/push pins. the holes will be small enough that it will be very easy to fix should you decide to take them of the wall or move again.

This is what I've done in my collection room. If you use the clear plastic ones, it will make a clean looking display and the holes are so small you can simply paint over them later. I have been thinking of mounting shelves on every wall running the full length of the room however, as lining up the figures sideways along the shelves would buy me a lot of extra display real estate. The peg board is something I have also considered.

Try Ace Hardware, Home Depot or Lowes.. This is what I had for several years until I got my own apartment. My dad got them for free from his work, but I picked up some extra hooks at Home Depot. I priced the boards also, & they were a reasonable price.

JCF,
You can get inexpensive, easy to assemble and unobtrusive wood shelving at Staples & Walmart that would be perfect. They are about 40" wide x 6' tall and only about 12" deep. I have used these to display MOC figures in the back, with open figures in the front. They are usually $30 per unit.
This means no holes and keeps your place from looking like a comic book store and you can use the bottom shelf for books or other decor as well.
I prefer more of an organized, showroom look to the stacked, pegged look so your mileage may vary. Please share the end result as its always cool to see how others display their items.
