This particular line has been popping up in stores lately, whaddaya think about it? I'm probably going to purchase some here in a couple of hours and wanted to know the general consensus on them. Although they're kiddie, they look nice and already have a multitude of Bats and bad guys out with just the first wave. I guess you could say the main reason I made this thread was to see some PJ pictures of them.

I saw these too. I think that these are going to be a failure like the Batman 2003 toy line. No Sir I don't like it

I had posted pics of them in the DKR thread here and did a whole breakdown at POA, but my bandwidth has exceeded. But I think I did post them in my Webshots album. (Below in my sig)
And right now only Croc & the deluxe Joker are out Two-Face, Freeze & the Mutant Batman are coming later in the year.

I think they're kinda lame TBH. I'd rather they just focused on the Batman Legacy line and have more than just three freakin figures in one wave rather than wasting plastic and money on this garbage.

Sooo I came home with the Batmobile, both "normal"-looking Batmen, Robin, and Croc. Aside from Croc's arms being made of a squishy material (and it seems as though the pegs are of the same material, which worries me when I move them and they resist), I really like them. It reminds me of the ol' Kenner days when the first and second movies had silly Batman toys out the ass. I reeeally hope this line lasts long enough to release a Solomon Grundy and Az-Bat, my two favorite baddies. Anyone else getting a Captain Planet vibe from the back of the packages?

I love the Batmobile. And would love it that much more if they released it in the black/blue/silver paint scheme the proto was shown in.

anyone try fitting the heads onto DCU figures? The heads on Bats and Robin seem roughly the same size, but they'd need some hollowing to fit on a balljoint. The face on Bats looks kind of gaunt and Robin's hair would bring the relatively spindly DCUC bodies crashing to the ground, but if that's your thing, go for it. I can't speak for Joker, since I don't have one in-hand (I'd rather wait until they make one minus the action mechanism).

great pics as always PJ!
to this day that spider legs version is one of my all time favorite figs. so sleek, menacing, and evil looking, but you could still see the pain in the character.

In the cartoon he was kind of creepy, but it was such a wicked design and that figure captured it perfectly

Surprised when I found Joker in Kohls was the only figure on the shelf from the wave. Kohls is good during movie toys time as a lot of the 2nd a 3rd waves pop up in there.
The new wave looks great especially Mr. Freeze and mutant armor Batman

Nothing. It's just a new line tied in with nothing.
