RA's are obviously staying. But do you think they should keep everything else like DA's, Micro Agression ect.?
(If they already said what they are keeping, then I am sorry. Must have missed it.)

Umm...they are keeping the RA line. But do you think Mattel will also keep the other lines Jakks has started in recent months/years such as DA's ect.
That was what I meant.

Mattel will change the names of the series obviously, an the style will be completely different obviously, they are gonna be made out of plastic instead of what Jakks use, i think they will be similar in style to the TNA or WCW figs, real poor quality compared to Jakks, to be brutal.

I'm sure they will continue RA and DA style figures, the figures should remain the same but will just be made by a different company. There's no way Mattel could build up the collector market again from scratch with a new style of figure, they would have to wait 10 or 20 years until there's enough new wrestling figure fans to replace all the current ones that would stop collecting if they changed the style.

DA's are not good figs IMO. They cost too much, a lot of them have screaming scans and they cost too much. Hopefully RA's stay and I don't care for MA's so I hope they go as well.

RA style is staying with Jakks. Mattel is going to come up with a different line of their own.

Mattel never said they were keeping a RA type style. Seeing they just purchased the license to produce the WWE brands a week ago...and last week their focus was on showing their products for this year at the NYC International Toy Fair I'd bet they don't even know who'll be in charge of the WWE brand yet.
That being said I'm sure they'll use their own style used for the DCSH. Which has 23 POA consisting of...ball-jointed neck, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, wrists, Mid-torso ab crunch, waist swivel, T-crotch with outer hinged hips, upper thigh swivels, knees, ankle hinges and pivots.

Jakks owns the rights to the RA/DA moulds therefore Jakks will take RA & DA etc.... w/them!!!! Mattel will use there poor quality Batman moulds and they will suck...... I highly doubt Jakks would let Mattel have their Moulds.....

Jakks needs money and Mattel has it. Mattel might just buy them to prevent them from having to make new ones.

After thinking a bit before I thought if Mattel realized the success with the RA and DA style figures, They should get the right from Jakks, Which would probably mean buy the right to use the mold, And produce new figures with the RA & DA molds. What would be great would be Mattel would make loads of money because people would still buy the figures. This would cause-
- Collectors to be happy and be happy with Mattel.
- It'll make Mattel money by everyone sticking to buying the figures.

Mattel won't buy the molds from Jakks. They will make their own figures. Regardless what the people on these boards want, because Mattel didn't spend all the money they spent to obtain the WWE license to use another companies molds. They are going to want their product to be just that theirs. They aren't going to say hey let's buy Jakks old molds, because they want to make money and if they bought another companies molds they know there's a very good chance they'll lose money. Why? Because they know if they did that there'd be many people who'd pass on their product, because they have that wrestler in RA form from the old company. So their product will be their own style and scale that doesn't resemble what Jakks did. Theirs will be entirely different, because they know parents/grandparents would pass on their figures if they looked like Jakks with the old "You have that figure already" Jakks owns the rights to the RA/DA moulds therefore Jakks will take RA & DA etc.... w/them!!!! Mattel will use there poor quality Batman moulds and they will suck...... I highly doubt Jakks would let Mattel have their Moulds..... Poor quality? Mattel's DCSH/DCUC are some of the best sculpted figures out there. Everything is in proportion. There's no thunder thighs or fat ankles like RA's or elongated thin knees like DA's. And as far as the articulation goes they have 23 POA consisting of...ball-jointed neck, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, wrists, Mid-torso ab crunch, waist swivel, T-crotch with outer hinged hips, upper thigh swivels, knees, ankle hinges and pivots.

Nothing is confirmed yet although I would like to see something happen midway between the RA and DA styles.

First off I really dont see the need for my figures to be able to do a split, crunches, or touch their heads with their toes, I personally think its stupid which is why I dont buy the current tna figures or the wwe DA figures. Mattel should try to make there own version of the RA figures so that long time collectors like my self dont have to start over from scratch (which i will not, if its diffrent than me and everyone i know will stop collecting wwe figures) Anything can happen in two years all the really young kids that dont buy the figures now wont have the current jakks figures so there parent/grandparent wont have to say the old "you have that one already" besides most grandparents/parents could care less to no if its even the same character let alone if the kid has that one already. So my plea to Mattel is dont buy the molds from jakks but do your own nock off version so that we long time collectors (who are the ones spending all the money on the current product anyway) dont have to quit and you can make some good money. And Jakks should def make their tna figs in the RA form sence its making them all the money and the tna and wwe figures will be compatible and EVERYONE is happy. Simple Solution.
