Hey everybody!
Quick question. Does anybody here know how Mattel makes the heads/faces for legend figures?
Do they scan a picture?
or
Are they just molded really well?
I'm curious because the BOPPV Bret Hart is the only figure I currently own and one of the selling points for me was that Bret's face was actually scanned for the figure and it looked spot-on accurate.
Just wondering how they did it for the rest of the legends who have either deceased or gotten older.
Thanks!

For deceased I know that they have something that can make a 3D sculpt from 2D images
But I've always wondered if someone like Bret would be scanned and then refined, or if they would just do the same process of using 2D images?
