Hey,
I was just looking on YouTube for some classic WWF clips and I came across this short video of The Bushwhackers entrance with a friggin' Kangaroo mascot!! Lol, I couldn't believe it.
Does anyone remember this, 'cause I sure as hell don't. It must've been very short lived. Did the kangaroo mascot have a name?? Or didn't he make it that long?? Haha.
This was during 1996 and I didn't think The Bushwhackers were even still with WWF at that point, but thanks to YouTube, it proved me wrong.
Does anyone know who was inside the kangaroo outfit?? I'd like a bit more information if I could get it, but if not, I suppoe it'll just stay a mystery.
Also, here's their rare 2nd WWF theme they were using at that point:

I think that was around 1996. I remember the Bushwhackers wrestling the Bodydonna's on Superstars, and I think the mascot was there to counter Sunny.

God I never saw that, but I aways hated the Bushwhackers. I LOVE them as the Sheepherders though. I always felt like the WWF crapped all over them and made them a joke, like so many other imports.

Just watched some videos of them as The Sheepherders and goddamn were they awesome as heels. Too bad WWF didn't give them a short run as heels at some point

I don't remember this either. So weird.
I wonder if that was a young Chavo in that Kangaroo suit.

Yeah I remember being scared of The Sheepherders when I was a kid. They came across as legitimately dangerous. Yet I hated the damn Bushwhackers. They defined the word annoying to me. UGH. I thought Mattel's figures were outstanding, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy them.

By the time Luke and Butch made it into the WWF they were so beaten up and torn apart with all the wars they had all over the world, they didn't care they were turned into a kiddie act. They made 10 times more money licking people in the crowd than they ever did bleeding all over The Fantatics in a barbed wire cage. With that being said? I liked The Bushwackers....but I LOVED The Sheephearders.

I mean did they?? I'm the sure they Bushwhackers made more money and were over in their WWF run than anywhere else...like simplyawesome said by that point in their careers i'm sure it was a nice change of pace.. but can someone tell me what this taunt @58 seconds is all about? seems a bit awkward like they're going to kiss...not that there is anything wrong with that

WTH! It looks to me like the WWF was trying to do an Australian type gimmick with them seeing as how they have boomerangs and a kangaroo....even tho there from New Zealand.
