Which do you think is better and why? I think the original ECW was awesome but the new ECW was crap. No more tables or sledgehammers or anything. The should have had Sabu and Justin Credible feuding with RVD for the WWE title. Instead you got Sandman getting beaten by a Zombie in a "West Coast ZOmbie Deathmatch" WTF WWE? How can they ruin everything. Hopefully this doesn't happen with WCW One Night Stand on the horizon. ECW might have been awesome, but it was a wrestling company and I think we should all remember that. XPW ran for a few years but they couldn't be ECW because they had no vegetables. No real meat. You got to have meat on your bones if you want to survive in this business. ECW basiaclly brought that concept to the mainstream along with Nirvana and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. I think there's much to be said for the original ECW and the new ECW, but I'll let you guys say it to each other. Anyway I think the old ECW is better.
How about your guys Thoughs?

This is not even open for debate in my opinion.

The original, and I'm not explaining why. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but come on...

Anything before TNN=Great
Anything from TNN afterwards=Awful
Oh yes, and there is no WCW One Night Stand...Its over. Done. Finished. Everyone that was worth anything in that company is either dead, retired or in TNA.

Both had some good parts and both had some awful parts. I loved the first few months of WWECW but once all the ECW originals were gone it just wasn't the same.

The end of this sentence is where you lost me. But on topic, old ECW obviously. But I'm proud of my WWECW threadhead days so I'm going to throw them a pity vote.

The original, and I'm not explaining why. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but come on... Dead on. But, I never hated on the new ECW. It was good for what it was and had many great wrestlers showcased on it.

Original. No debate necessary. The relaunch had SO MUCH potential, but they pulled the rug out from under Paul, and took creative control away, and that's what killed it.

Even after the actual ECW part of it died off, I still really enjoyed what it became. So many of the WWE's best guys in recent years got their start there. I could list them all off, but the only name I need to make that point is CM Punk. Regardless, in comparison to the original ECW, it'll never touch it. It just can't. There was no way it ever could. The significance and impact that the original had on the pro wrestling business will probably never be duplicated.

The original, and I'm not explaining why. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but come on... This. OK, then if you watch original ECW and new ECW, then it will be very easy answer for you, useless if you are a sad fan who are very into Cena.

What the does John Cena have to do with either version of ECW?

WWECW was fantastic after they stopped trying to be ECW v.2. Christian, Regal, Punk, Morrison, Sheamus, Miz, Ryder, etc. Actual wrestling and great storylines.

Taking WWE's version for what it was before they cancelled it, they really shouldn't be compared. They're only the same by name. WWECW became pretty much a 3rd brand in the same way the new NXT is right now. I loved it for that, but I won't chose between the two because they were nothing alike.

Anything before TNN=Great Anything from TNN afterwards=Awful. I respectfully disagree about the TNN era. ECW made the best out of a bad situation with TNN. They were able to establish stars in Justin Credible, Mike Awesome, RVD, Rhino, Kid Kash, and others. The evil Network angle was brilliant, and made for some great TV.

Both were awesome. The original ECW was great in utilizing Hardcore, and creating great superstars and feuds. The new ECW did the same while forgetting about the hardcore :l3 Honestly 2006-2007 ECW was one of my favorite brand eras in WWE

I very much enjoyed WWECW, specifically Punk vs JoMo and then Christians year of dominance, but this isn't even close. Like country mile doesn't even cover it.
And I enjoyed the TNN years, the Raven return segment with the Dudleys and Dreamer is still one of the best moments ever done on a pro wrestling TV program imo. If you loved the Impact Players, Rhino, Jerry Lynn, or Stever Corino then I feel like the TNN years went well for you. I personally loved how much Jerry Lynn we got during that time frame and the Rhino vs Sandman feud was great. I'm definitely partial to the 99 stuff because Raven was back and Awesome vs Tanaka was the sh*t but I think the TNN stuff was really cool while it lasted.
