I've seen quite a few of these.
It really hit me how much I hated Ric Flair when I watched one that he was in. I think it was one that was about factions.
I always hated him, and I knew from what people had said about him that he was a piece of trash. But I didn't know to what level he was. He came across as the most arrogant, self centred, jealous, lying piece of trash I'd ever seen. He literally badmouthed everyone he knew was better than him and made ridiculous statements such as "Shawn Michaels carried Scott Hall through the ladder match", it was "the only good match Scott Hall ever had" and "He works for TNA, what's TNA?". I can't remember who that last one was about.

Jim Ross & Michael Hayes are always great to listen in those.
Haven't listened to one that wasn't a great earful.

I'm a big, big fan of these. Some of them are mediocre but they're incredibly entertaining to listen to.
The only ones I don't like to watch are the ones ruined by Flair and DDP. Flair puts himself over and craps on everyone else. DDP ruined the celebrity one by constantly bringing up Karl Malone and acting like he's one of the most integral celebrity guest stars in the history of wrestling.

You could easily make up a Legends of Wrestling Roundtable drinking game up with the DDP one. "For every time that DDP mentions Karl Malone, drink."

I can't remember who that last one was about. He definitely hated the nWo on that show! He came across as a real egomaniac. I like these shows, but I hate when they start talking about how "everything was better back in the good ol' days, you had to pay your dues, blah, blah". Everybody from Jim Ross to Michael Hayes. Crapping on today and glorify the days there were active is just sad. Being a bitter has-been isn't attractive on anybody - some of these guys need to get the chip off their shoulder. But these shows are quite interesting, I wish they would make some new ones - they just seem to be re-running the old ones.

I love these shows but at times there are some guys that can just pat their backs way to much. Flair did it in the Factions one. DDP did it as well with the whole "I got Karl Malone over" crap...Even Bret Hart when he was on their nut hugged himself constantly. Pretty much Ross, Okerlund, Dillon, Watts, Patterson, and Rhodes are the only ones that give informative unbiased opinions.

I love these as well.
But, I'm shocked with how much flak Flair is getting...especially when Hayes and Mike Graham are on the show. Holy smokes, those two talk like they created wrestling. They cut off co hosts, pipe in with self centred stories, and go on WAY too long about themselves.
At least Flair is widely considered the greatest of all time...arrogance, especially in that episode, considering where Flair was in his life, and the history between the NWO and himself, doesnt bother me that much. Flair has shown humility and vulnerabilty uncommon in the elite of the elite.
Graham and Hayes got to get over themselves.

I used to love these a few years ago, but the more recent ones haven't been as interesting. I guess the format isn't as fresh as it was, and some of them now are rehashing stuff (I think they've done about five on the attitude era/Monday Night Wars/NWO that all used the same stuff).
I think Michael Hayes is the worst thing on them. Awful man.

I absolutely love the Legends of Wrestling, easily one of my all time favorites on Classics on Demand. My favorite episode is probably the one where outdoor events were discussed. I watched that one more than once. There is a new episode due to air this month. I don't remember the subject matter for July's but another new episode will air in October and the subject for that one will be hardcore wrestling, I'm really looking forward to that one. Road Dogg will be featured for the first time on these new episodes. JR is on them as well and after filming the October episode, he tweeted that Pat Patterson detests hardcore wrestling. It's funny that the guy who detests hardcore wrestling is the guy who defended the Hardcore Championship in an Evening Gown Match against Gerald Brisco. That may be why he detests it.
