Here is an update on the situation.
"Wrestling fans who have DirecTV were not able to watch TNA's Impact Wrestling last night and it looks like they won't be able to see next week's show either. Deadline.com reports that DirecTV and Viacom are still far apart on their dispute and negotiations are moving slowly. Deadline says consumers should not expect a resolution soon."

I'll be shocked if this isnt resolved before Impact next week. These disputes dont generally last long. However, the AMC/Dish Network never got resolved and AMC remains off air for them.

Those who said it won't harm TNA.
"This week's TNA Impact Wrestling rating only scored 0.85 with 1.108 million viewers.
That is way down from last week's episode, which garnered a 1.00 rating and 1.485 million viewers."
It does harm them you idiot's.-.-

Wouldn't be shocked if someone back in TNA tries to ignorantly put the blame on Aries.

Wouldn't be shocked if someone back in TNA tries to ignorantly put the blame on Aries. I dont see that happening at all unless it would continue AFTER DirecTV returns. I honestly expect this to end soon. I was reading online that DirecTV said they are very close to a new deal and the stations should be back very soon.

Once this is over, things will go back to normal, and no harm will be done to TNA.

So then maybe he wasn't talking to you, since he was only addressing the people that did say the rating wouldn't be effected... Regardless, that's really disheartening. I mean, you knew it was going to happen, but that's a decent size drop.
