Definitely not Michigan ! I hate living here. Not much to see unless your a Tigers fan, Red Wings fan, or a Lions fan(Im all three). So my answer would be any state but here.
Also, If your wanting to come to Michigan, be careful. Were known for a lot of killings here..

I'm from Jersey and I love it because it's a nice mix of everything and also I'm only a half hour away from NYC.
I have also visited and loved Florida and Texas. BUT I do like having seasons, I wouldn't want it to fee like summer all year round.

I grew up in Illinois, Nevada, Minnesota, and California. Spent a lot of summers in Wisconsin, and I live in California now. Ive traveled most of the country, excluding the north east.
I really like California, especially Lake Tahoe and all of the coast, but I wouldn't say its the best state. Nevada is cool too because the laws are pretty loose for the most part, outside of drugs, but the gambling ruins it for anything other than a vacation spot. I like Texas but the heat is pretty overwhelming.
Overall I would also say Wisconsin is my favorite state, with Minnesota in a close second.

I grew up in Queens, NY........and I still love NY, but upstate is awful. So it can't be there.
I have no problem living in Maryland for the rest of my life. When I first moved to MD, i hated it. I thought it was just some redneck.....backwoods place.
And it is. But i've learned to love it. Cruising around at night....and ur the only car on the road. Hopping on the boat on a Sunday afternoon. Just floating around the Chesapeake Bay. Thats it for me buddy.
