Michaels on Janetty? DiBiase on JYD? Horsemen on Sting? Andre on Hogan? Freebirds on Von Erichs? Larry Z on Bruno? Fuji on Demolition? Barry on Lex? Lex on...everyone? Hogan on Sting? Savage on Hogan?
Or my favourite...Orndorff on Hogan? I was watching Maple Leaf Wrestling every Saturday night, and Superstars every Saturday morning, and going to the monthly, or bi monthly MLG shows. Orndorff was a white hot face at the time, fresh off his face turn from Piper and Heenan....working with the $50,000 bounty on his head, and the most intense face Id seen in the WWF. Killing jobbers every week with the piledriver. His turn on Hogan, while telegraphed to my old guy eyes now, was a nice slow burn...when he snapped, it blew me away! Coming out to Real American, hand on the ear, pose down.....he was, i thought, posed to dethrone Hogan. I went to Exhibition Stadium, on a surprisingly cold August night, to watch Hogan vs Orndorff for the WWF title. It was the first, and only time, I felt that Hogans title was really in jeopardy. Orndorff was a better wrestler, i reasoned. Awesome match...should have went longer as a feud, but they had to get Andre in before Wrestlemania III, Orndorff went for surgery, and the big wheels of Hulkamania kept on turning.
Which one...and I'm sure Ive missed a TON, is your favourite? Why?

I have to go with Barry Windham turning on Lex Luger, thus giving up the NWA Tag Titles back to the Horsemen, just to JOIN that very group all in the same match.
I was 7 years old at the time, and I remember watching it one Saturday afternoon and couldn't believe that Barry would do that. It was at that moment that I became a Barry Windham fan, and that never changed.

Chris Benoit in 2007 All joking aside HBK in 05.....Seriously when he kicked Hogan I was like OMG. HBK was the definition of a babyface his entire 02-10 run in the WWE and I dont think anyone saw a heel turn coming and then BAM that Kick was just wow. Such an underrated turn IMO. I think if done right a few years down the line Punks turn from the 1000th episode will be getting talked about in threads like this.

I loved Michaels on Jannetty but you could see it coming a mile off unfortunately.
The Rock at Survivors 98 was enjoyable as was Hart double switch with Austin at WM13
Undertaker's turn on JR in 2001 is underated and unexpected

Austin at WM X7 Hogan in 1996
These are the two obvious ones in my mind.
For me as a kid this one blew me away and I still love it to this day:

Michaels turning on Hogan was shocking, but the heel turn was short lived only through the Summerslam match.
The one that I'll admit I never saw coming and shocked me is when Trish Stratus turned on Jericho at WMXX. I thought she would mistakenly cause Jericho the match, but not turn on him. So that was a cool surprise.

Im shocked nobody has said HHH on X-Pac at WM15.
nobody seen this coming after Chyna rejoined DX earlier in the night.....I was flabbergasted and it remains one of the most suprising turns ever.
also BOTH Austins turns were utter disposable tripe that sullied his character forever.total bull.

It was at that moment that I became a Barry Windham fan, and that never changed. That's eerily that same story I was coming to tell. Barry turning on Lex made me a Windham/Horsemen fan for life. And it made me appreciate the realism of the NWA as an alternative to the WWF. Another one I'd like to throw in there was Bulldog turning on Diesel. I know many won't agree, but that one really shocked me cause I didn't see Bulldog as a heel. Turns out he was a great at it. EDIT: I see that hbkjason already said Bulldog turning on Diesel. I guess great Jasons think alike! ;D

Obviously the ones stated: Rockers split, Mega Powers Explode, HHH at WM15
One I always thought was well done, but pretty much insignificant was Tantanka being the one who "Sold Out" to the Million Dollar Man and turned on Lex Lugar.

some of my favorites are
HHH @ WMania 15 - cause as JokerFC said, nobody saw it coming with Chyna rejoining DX and the DX promo right before the match about DX being whole again...that was great.
HBK on Hogan
Mr Perfect on Marc Mero - although it didn't amount to anything, it was great as HHH and Perfect had orchestrated this entire thing to get HHH the Intercontinental Title. If only Perfect would have stuck around.
My favortite heel turn on all time though has gotta be
Ric Flair on Sting - I don't remember the event or all the details leading up to it, but the match was Arn/Pillman vs Flair/Sting. Arn and Flair had a falling out and were feuding at the time and Sting had sided with Flair to help him even the odds against Arn/Pillman. Well on the night of the event, Flair wasn't able to come to the ring (can't remember if he had be attacked earlier by Arn/Pillman or if he just wasn't there). So with Flair not there the match became 2 on 1, Pillman and Anderson vs Sting. About 1/2 way into the match Flair showed up in Stings corner and after being beat down Sting made the 'hot tag'. As Flair gets in, fired up, ready to get to Arn for what he'd done.....Flair hits Sting instead, then Arn and Pillman join in on the attack on Sting.
not sure why but that one really stood out, so much so I've probably used it 100 times during my various figure feds growing up.
