Are all the Orton peg warmers a result of him not being popular with collectors? Or just too many made?
Personally, I liked Orton when he was in Legacy, using his old music, and having different trunk colors. But once he went with the "Voices" theme song and his one dimensional persona, he's rather boring to me.
With Orton's return to RAW sporting a clean shaven face and a buzz-cut mohawk, looks like it's time to do a quick fix up. Easy enough to find Orton heads.

Randy as a performer is a mixed bag, yes he apparently gets a good pop but personally I think him going through all his snake/viper-like antics is too intellectually- disabled - look at me I'm a sssssssssssssnake!
As a toy he pretty much sucks too. Very plain attire, about the only thing that changes on his black trunks is the lettering and designs. His tat sleeves are pretty cool but put it this way, if you own one elite Randy Orton, you pretty much own them all.
I think PJ is the only one who collects all versions of him.

As one of my favourite Wrestler, I find it very difficult not to buy an updated orton. I own all of his elites and hope for more :/

He's one of the few modern guys I do find entertaining.

I was a HUGE Orton mark from early 2004 until i stopped following the WWE in early 2009. His Viper persona isn't the best, yes, but his in-ring work has always been solid, and I don't really hate him like some of the collectors/IWC do. That said, I actually prefer his Basic figures to his Elites, since I feel the basics are more accurate to how his body actually is these days. The Elite Orton body would be perfect for a Legend Killer Orton, and it's one of my top wants right now.

His figures are all basically the same. He's been wearing black trunks with a colour design since... I don't even remember the last time he wore any different coloured trunks. When he was feuding with Undertaker in 2005?
For how limited and similar his figures all are, he gets too many released, pretty much. Overproduction is the key. Even Rey Mysterio and John Cena figures shelfwarm in a lot of areas, and they're two of the most popular wrestlers of all time, and Rey's figures are quite varied.

Yeah, I always see you defending the guy when anyone complains about the over-saturation of him. And yet you dislike Rey, who has a bunch of sweet looking attires - I now, different strokes. Mattel needs to cool it on both of them, though. It seems like every heavy packed figure doesn't move. The 2-per case Elites hang around too long - I just don't think there is a demand for the extras. The 3-per case Basic figures also hang around. It just happens that Orton is a member of the heavy-packed club along with Cena and Rey (and HHH and Undertaker). Is Basic 19 Kofi 3-per case? He seems like he is hanging around, even though it is a really cool looking figure. This heavy packing just ain't working.

I used to like Rey back in WCW, but once he lost the mask and glued the horns to his forehead in the Filthy Animals I pretty much lost all respect for him. And since then regardless of his talent all I can see is the joke he became with those stupid horns.
As for Orton the one thing I don't like is the way he throws a clothesline now. It looks very awkward. But I liked Randy from day one. Of the 3 guys who started the whole "Ruthless Aggression" erhe'sa Orton was the one I liked. I never liked Brock and Cena just kept getting worse
