Does it make a difference if you put your old cell phone battery into your new phone?
Basically, I got a replacement cell phone last week and I was going to ship the damaged one back tomorrow but for some reason I had two of the same batteries on the table. One of the old and one of the new which both look the same. So I'm all confused now which battery belongs to witch or does it matter?

A lot of companies use the same battery for similar phones (for their own brand phones). Difference might be the mAh size in some cases. As long as the connector pins line up and it's not a tight squeeze you should be good. Sounds like you just got the same identical phone/battery as before to replace the damaged one. If you so you are good.

Do you remember what your battery life was at before you removed it?
