I just bought Batman: The Long Halloween, and The Killing Joke and I was wondering which I should read first if there is a chronological order it goes in, or if it doesn't matter?

They're completely different stories that have nothing to do with each other so you can read them in any order.

If we put Batman's career into a ten year window then The Long Holloween would be around year two and Killing Joke would be year six or so. The are set far apart and have little to do with each other.

The Long Halloween comes before The Killing Joke, but like the others have said, the two aren't connected in any way so it really doesn't matter which you read first.
