I don't really pay attention to the directors of films I see That's cool. For me if I stumble across a movie I really liked, I would look up what the director has also done. If it sounded interesting or had some good reviews I will check it out. Domino affect from there. Typically directors all have a unique style in their films although the stories/plot usually range from a wide variety.

Christopher Nolan - What a hard choice. I'd have to say Following. But they could be interchangeable, as they're all outstanding. Tim Burton - Beetlejuice Stanley Kubrick - A Clockwork Orange David Fincher - Benjamin Button Martin Scorsese - Gangs of New York Frank Darabont - Shawshank Redemption Jon Favreau - Made Tony Scott - The Fan - talk about underrated. I ing love this movie. Quentin Tarantino - Reservoir Dogs The Coens - Barton Fink I love directors man. Could do this all day.
