I'd rather Gareth Bale be posting on these boards than you. Me no comprende in the language of Gareth Bale.

I'd rather Gareth Bale be posting on these boards than you. Can't wait for him to move to Real and you to declare him Judas, before saying he's nothing without Lennon ;[ or even better, United I do believe that Lennon's contribution is severely underrated, he should play for England. Without him Bale is shackled a lot more.

I'll let Bale off if he goes. He's given us five good years and not tried to force a move despite being linked with massive clubs for the last two and a half years.
Couple of barnstormers in the CL tonight.

Knew Barcelona would easily qualify. Milan just were not good enough to withstand Barca at the Nou Camp. When they got a draw there in the Champions League last season, Milan's starting XI was so much better it's ridiculous.

One of the worst performances i've seen from Milan in the Champions League in some while, granted I only watched the first 45 minutes of it. Could of been so different had Niang scored a minute before Messi got his 2nd.
Watched the 2nd half of the Schalke/Galatasaray match, great game. Didn't think Galatasaray had much chance as the Vetlins is a hard place to go for any team, it's proving that they don't particularly need Drogba or Sneijder who haven't really shone as of yet since joining in January. As i've said though Fatih Terim is a fantastic manager, no doubt they'll be going out in the QF's though providing they don't get Malaga or Porto.

Cannot believe Arsenal won that! Pretty crap game, but amazing they actually won and kept a clean sheet at the Allianz.

Decent performance from Arsenal to say they were missing their main man, Wilshere. Not going to spill any tears now they're out though.

Atleast Arsenal can come out with a bit of pride between now & end of the season with that result.

Absolutely convinced Chelses are going out of the Europa League tonight. Can see them winning (2-1 or 3-2) but going out on away goals.

We might be going out the way we're playing at the moment. Not sure about going 4-4-2 away to Inter when we're leading 3-0. Would've started Holtby.

Very, very fortunate...
Probably what you get for relying on 1 man a lot.

Champions League Quarter Finals:
Malaga v Borussia Dortmund Real Madrid v Galatasaray Paris St-Germain v Barcelona Bayern Munich v Juventus
Europa League Quarter Finals:
Chelsea v Rubin Kazan Tottenham Hotspur v Basel Fenerbahce v Lazio Benfica v Newcastle United
Some tasty looking ties!
Can see Dortmund, Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern getting through from the CL games; and Chelsea, Basel, Lazio and Benfica from the Europa games.

Borussia Dortmund Real Madrid Barcelona Juventus
Juve-Bayern is huge, only given it to Juve cos they have the 2nd leg at home. I think it'll be a Juve-Madrid final, and I would be happy with either of those sides winning.
Chelsea Tottenham Hotspur Lazio Newcastle United
Lazio to win it. Or Spurs

I would like Tottenham to get to the final/win it, but I've just got a feeling they will it up against Basel. They are a decent side (as you should know after their performances against United last season ;[ ), and I reckon if Spurs don't thrash them in the first leg, they'll win the second leg and squeeze through. Agree about Juve - Bayern. I reckon Bayern will narrowly win at home, then get a draw away. Should be a cracker of a tie, though.

Lazio will be the side to beat I think in the Europa. Second leg away again for us, but I've got confidence that we can put another Inter home performance in and then play better in Switzerland this time.
Champions League draw looks tasty. Barca/PSG and Juve/Bayern and worthy of at least the Semi Finals.

''If anything Benfica possibly have a slightly better history than us'' - Alan Pardew. lol, no sh*t. The Europa draw is quite hard to predict in terms of what I think in the coming rounds, Lazio have looked great in it this season but you've got teams like Benfica *shudder* who haven't lost in the league this season and of course Rubin Kazan aren't to be overlooked either after disposing of holders Atletico and an in-form Levante comfortably. Juve-Bayern is huge, only given it to Juve cos they have the 2nd leg at home. I think it'll be a Juve-Madrid final, and I would be happy with either of those sides winning. Agreed. Bayern have been in formidable form domestically but have shown some weaknesses when it has come to the Champions League. Mouth watering tie nonetheless. The potential semi-final ties are some of the best fixtures we'll of had in many years. Probably down to the fact that there's no English teams in it.
