I thought this would be a good subject since I am sure many of us are guilty of this...
Movies that are very popular and you never got around to actually seeing them.
I thought of this yesterday when I watched the original Friday the 13th. As you can tell by my sig I am a Jason Vorhees fan, but I never actually seen the original film. I never saw part 2 either which I'll be watching that today and scratching that off my movie bucket list.
The only other film I never saw that I can think of at this time is Schindler's List.
Also it wasn't until a couple months ago that I finally watched Scarface, and The Godfather and I am 30 years old mind you. My friend who is also 30 never saw one Star Wars movie and CM Punk said in an interview that he never saw any of the Rocky films yet he gets the pop culture reference.
So what is yours?
P.S. Try to stick to films that have been at least released on DVD/Blue Ray for a while. I am sure for as popular as Prometheus is not all of us had the time or the funds to go check it out.

I've never seen:
Any of the Rocky movies sans the 2006 one that my buddy dragged me to Raging Bull The Green Mile Saving Private Ryan Apocalypse Now Vertigo North By Northwest Any of the Godfather movies
I'm sure there is more. Some I just haven't gotten around to seeing, others I just don't care about.

My wife is still shocked that two of her favorite movies, The Sandlot and The Goonies, have not been seen by me in their entirety.

I've not seen the godfatehr movies yet know alot of scenes that are parodied from it and such.
my friend has NEVER and refuses to see Jurassic Park..no idea why...
and it took me..... aboouuttt...6 years to see the blair witch project. Needless to say i was REALLY lookin forward to it.. and grew VERY angry and upset shortly before it came out that it was not real.. I was so excited too. Hell I saw the second movie way before the first one lol

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I've never seen Casablanca. I've heard it's amazing, and I've always wanted to see it. I guess it has just never been readily available for me to watch.

I've been able to avoid pretty much every comedy that has come out since my freshman year in high school. The only exceptions that come to mind are the Hangover and Old School... I didn't enjoy either one.

Any Godfather Film The Shining (surprises everyone being as though I'm a horror nut) 2001 Any Twilight movie (but I'm probably not alone) Slumdog Millionaire (In fact...there are TONS of these little indie flicks that I've passed on with no desire to see them)

^^ 2001 is an absolute must IMO. Not the greatest film ever, but a master class in terms of pure film making technique. It's unlike any film you've ever seen.
big ones for me: Shawshank Redemption Schindler's List Rocky
