I recently picked these up at Vintage Stock for ps1. I wanted to get some attitude era games to pump me up for WWE 13. Do you guys have any thoughts on theses games?

ECW Hardcore Revolution is a bad game but I still enjoy it.

I'll agree that the ecw one is bad, but KYR is awesome. Some great characters and very fond memories of playing the season mode.

Absolutely loved them at the time (especially SD!2), but they certainly haven't aged well.
I could only ever see myself playing them again for a nostalgia kick.

Love Smackdown 2 (dated graphics be damned) and ECW Hardcore Revolution, for what it is it can be a fun game

SD2 lasted me from when it came out until HCTP, so good, that Season mode will never ever be topped.

I'm trying to relive all the fun I had with them in the past. ECW is horrible, I will admit, but I love the crowd on there lol. KYR on the other hand...casket match, I quit match?? So much fun having Vince throw Stephanie into the casket!

Smackdown!2:KYR is pretty much what made me become obsessed with wrestling. I love it for that reason, the roster, the season, and a couple of other small factors. I also think it's a really good update to the first Smackdown!, which came out months before SD!2:KYR.

Was I the only one that hated KYR's season mode. Those damn skip match health bar's for every match that wasn't yours on every card.

Gotta love SD 2's "Music video" entrances and horrible commentary "Now this sure is an exciting normal match!" I still own Hardcore Revolution and the sequel, Anarchy Rules, and I love them, regardless of what people say.

Based on your description of it, though, there's not a doubt in my mind that you're thinking of the god awful, and now infamous, commentary from Just Bring It (SD! 3) on the PS2. The Undertaker... has a nice... the Last Ride!

But I loved KYR. I probably played that one more then any up until HCTP. I loved the season and just the whole game was fun to me.

SD2 was one of the best smackdowns IMO.

SmackDown 2 is definitely one of the best SmackDown games. I remember playing it even after 'Just Bring It' had came out. The way that you had rankings and could build divisions and then, in the next game it was completely taken out? Stupid and Nonsensical. I used to sit for hours having Too Cool beat each tag team till they where the number one contenders, or booking 'hardcore 4 Way time Limit' matches so I could have Taz hold the Hardcore Championship.
I also spent 3 years (in game time) playing Season mode so I could unlock Michael Cole.
