Just wondering if there has been any word on a possible update on the carding for 2013? I know the colors and carding were tweaked around series 8 and the nice change to white with series 13 last year.
So to make for an interesting topic, would you like to see any changes, or do you like them as is? What changes do you think would make the packaging stand out even more?

There will probably be a packaging change and should be shown at RSF.

I'd be surprised to see a change so soon. Maybe next year at this time?

No need to change it.
Wasn't the whole reason Mattel changed to the current packaging was to "cut on costs"?

It's going to change, maybe just a tweak and I'm sure they will start over with numbering the basics, again.

I wouldn't mind if the Elite packaging goes back to using the back window like they had in 2010. Than again what should I care I am a loose collector anyway, lol.

if you remember it did get tweaked starting on series 16 by adding the little oval on the front stating what accessories were packaged with it. That is probably all the change we will see till towards the end of 2013. First two years they had the same design except they tweaked it half way through by taking out the back window and changing the background and taking off pictures of the other figures off the back and adding in real pictures of the wrestlers from the set.

I'm sure there will be some sort of packaging change at the beginning of the year. They have done it all 3 years they have had the licensed. I'm sure the trend will continue. With that being said, I personally like the white carding the best out of the 3 we have had so far.

I'm a loose collector so the box doesn't bother me at all

I'd honestly love to see the packaging shrink, too this size, maybe with a little tag to hang it up top...my house is getting way too filled with these big elite bulky packages, I'd be buying so many more figures if I had more room, but moc elites take all the space up

I hope they don't change it, I like it. They changed it to white so they would stand out from the other toys on the pegs that followed their path of black packaging.

If I'm not mistaken they changed to white so that their products would 'stick out' more as you walk down the aisle. This was said or written in the Q&A they did after last year's ComiCon. Slight changes every year are fine, no worries. But, if I were a strict MOC collector and they kept doing drastic changes, I'd be pissed.
