I can't believe I'm about to embark on this, but here it goes:
I finished the blu ray a few days ago, and must say it was a great release. The documentary was not the same as the one that aired on USA, and I liked it better. Whether or not you were a fan of the storyline, I highly recommend the documentary, it's worth seeing.
I know a lot of people were down on this feud, but I didn't have a problem with it. I'm by no means a Cena fan, more times than not, you will see me fast forwarding through his matches. I wasn't really taking a side in this feud, but I couldn't imagine Cena losing at WM28. I sat at Sun Life Stadium, legit stunned, to see him get beat. It wasn't until Raw 1000 that the wheels started spinning in my head as to what road the WWE was going down.
I predicted on that night we would see Punk/Rock at the Royal Rumble, and the Rock will walk out WWE Champion. Cena will end up winning the Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber (more likely the Rumble), and we will get Rock/Cena II for the WWE Championship. Cena will then redeem himself from the WM28 loss and defeat the Rock to become WWE Champion again.
After watching the documentary, it convinced me that Cena avenging his loss from the year before is exactly what he needs. It will help put a stamp on his already impressive legacy that he has created. From Cena's standpoint, the documentary shows that the WWE is his life, period. If there was ever a time to "pass the torch" from the Rock to Cena, it can't get any better than to have Cena regain the WWE championship.
Thoughts?

I've been saying the exact same thing for awhile now. From Punk/Rock at Rumble to Cena winning the Rumble & challenging Rock at Mania. And as much as I hate to see Punk's reign end I'm okay with a Cena/Rock rematch this Wrestlemania.

Cena is always the underdog who overcomes the odds. That is the reason why I can't stand him

I rather just see a dominant Cena title run, my favorite all time champ was Edge. Im a heel guy, so right now im loving Punk as champion even though he gets a huge pop usually.

"HE HAS BECOME THE NEW YORK YANKEES!" Which is ironic being that Punk wore the New York Yankees colours for Night Of Champions. Not really. In fact, it's the exact opposite. He's trying to get in Cena's head in kayfabe and get heel heat in Boston but people are still going to cheer Punk just like they'll boo Cena.

But seriously, I'm actually going to be really upset if they go with Rock/Cena II at Mania next year. I paid for my plane ticket, hotel, and extremely pricey WM ticket based on the "Once In A Lifetime" idea, assuming that they were sticking by it. Just like the reason why I bought Survivor Series last year: "Never Before, Never Again." My best guess is that they go with Punk/Rock/Cena at Mania next year, with Cena getting the win over Rock. And if they go that route I'm still going to be pissed.

I still don't get how people were shocked that Rock won. It was so obvious he wasn't making his big comeback with all that steam behind him only to lose. He was actually the favorite going into the match.

I think it's already a lock that we will get a Triple Threat at Wrestlemania, between The Rock, CM Punk and John Cena for the WWE Championship. They're not going to simply build Punk this big, have him hold the Title for over a year, get involved with The Rock only to drop it to him at the Rumble and be shafted to the side for Wrestlemania.
I think whoever loses the WWE Championship Match at the Royal Rumble, will then enter themselves into the Rumble Match and win it. For example, The Rock could beat CM Punk at the Rumble, then Punk will enter the Rumble Match and eliminate Cena last to win the Rumble. John Cena will then win the Elimination Chamber to ensure it's a Triple Threat at Wrestlemania.
Personally though, I think it would work best if CM Punk went into Wrestlemania as WWE Champion, The Rock won the Royal Rumble, and John Cena won the Elimination Chamber.

I'm sure that's what's going to happen, I'm dreading cenas title reign. He hasn't been the champion in so long that im afraid when he does win it back he's gonna have it for a very very long time...with all the emphasis they've been putting on length of title reigns I feel like I'm doomed to an 8 year cena championship run. The man has already risen above cancer, that's all that's left for him at this point.

It simply makes it a bigger deal when The Rock finally dethrones him.

To me, it wont and cant be bigger than the WM28 encounter. WM28 was the first encounter, the "Once In a Lifetime". Cena NEEDED that win. He can beat Rock in five more matches for all i care, but the WM28 match was the one that counted and mattered. If Cena never pulled his weight as a superstar before, he should have then, and refused to lose that match. Im sure they told him "Dont worry, next year you'll get revenge and beat him for the WWE title" but then why would Cena still stand by and let them bill it at "Once in a Lifetime"? Its quite ignorant on WWE's part to have a rematch. Its false advertising to their loyal fans. Not to mention, these Wrestlemania Rematches are getting ing old!

I wouldn't mind a Rock vs Cena rematch at WM29 if it made sense. But it doesn't, they had over a year of build, each guy had a year to prepare, and they have this big blow off where Rock wins. End of story. Not more. If there is a rematch, then there has to be a third rubber match. Cena winning doesn't make him regain his loss from last year, it just brings him back up to even with the Rock. Cena wins, and were where we were before WM28. Who is better? Wouldn't make sense for them to have a 2nd match where Cena wins unless they have a third.
Like someone above me said, i wouldn't mind a triple threat between Rock, Cena, and Punk. We haven't had a triple threat for the WWE title since WM24, and this would be a good one. And Punk should win and continue his reign even further. Then if they want to do a Cena vs. Rock rematch, do it at Summer Slam. To me what made it once in a lifetime was the fact that it was them 2, at WrestleMania. Having a rematch at another event wouldn't be as bad as having it again at WM only a year later. Another scenario I wouldn't mind, would be Cena winning the title from Punk, only to lose it back to Rock at Royal Rumble. Punk wins the Rumble, and we have Punk vs. Rock at WM.

Here's how I see it:
- The Rock beats CM Punk at Royal Rumble to win the WWE title - CM Punk enters the Rumble and last eliminates Cena to win - John Cena wins the Elimination Chamber Match - Cena beats Punk and Rock at WM29 in a triple threat match, making Rock tap out to the STF

It's pointless them calling the DVD "Once In A Lifetime" if they have a rematch, but i'm all for it.
