Yep, this game, which many have dumped on and forgotten about, is coming out tomorrow. It might be bad. It might be terrible. It might actually be fun! Who knows? We'll find out soon.

Played through the tutorial on the trial and it's not that bad. I mean, it's not Fire Pro as we know it and it's certainly not going to win any awards; but it's kind of enjoyable.

I think it would have been better received if they had just named it "Avatar Pro Wrestling" or something like that. Most of the hate just comes from the fact it uses the Fire Pro name. For a simple arcade game, it don't look that bad.

I think it would have been better received if they had just named it "Avatar Pro Wrestling" or something like that. Most of the hate just comes from the fact it uses the Fire Pro name. For a simple arcade game, it don't look that bad. I think that's the biggest thing, granted the previews I've seen don't make it look all that impressive. But maybe there is some fun to be had. I might dust off the old 360 to give the demo a try, maybe purchase it, if there's enough to keep me coming back. The thing is, they titled it Fire Pro Wrestling. Listen, I get that it's not profitable to make a true blue Fire Pro game. Understood, but I'd rater not see the legacy tarnished by having something like this, even if it is fun, it is nowhere near the quality of any Fire Pro game. The Fire Pro series already gets a lot of misguided hate due to the graphics, the fact that there is no WWE or any license for that matter, and for the game play. And it sucks, but at least hardcore wrestling fans and open minded fans gave it a try and let the series grow. Sadly wrestling itself isn't all that popular now a days, couple with the lack of positive buyrates from the games, it's sad we'll most likely never see another Fire Pro game. Now the real downside is that, the games already get that negative feedback, this isn't gonna help sway people. It may be fun, but it's cartoony, I doubt it features anywhere near the depth of previous Fire Pro games, and more. So odds are, this probably won't sell outside of a few curiosity buys. I dunno, if it was named anything else, I wouldn't really have a hard time with this. I'm all for more wrestling games, even if they aren't on par with say Fire Pro or No Mercy. But you can't have a WWE game that's like an updated version of Wrestlemania for the NES and call it No Mercy 2.

Yeah nL inspired me to play the trial version, and I'll admit I had more fun than I thought I would. I ranked up and unlocked some moves. I may play it more if I get bored. I would never buy it though.

I downloaded the trial, and it honestly wasn't that bad. Just a simple pick-up and play arcade game. I might buy the full game at some point because it seems like a fun time waster.

people need to stop trashing it because it;s not like the fire pro they know. this game looks fun plus i love that you use the avatar, so each of your own will be unique when playing online and the intros have something game related. I watched one match were somone came out with a portal gun and blasted two holes yossing in a small companion cube LOL
also seen hornswaggle dance around one guy... another with the WWF championship belt (AE)
this games makes me wish i had a 360 lol

Reminds me of Celebrity Deathmatch more then Fire Pro. After watching I noticed it really wasn't supposed to be Fire Pro. But if you watch the moves and how they do them you can see it is just like Celebrity Deathmatch.

But if you watch the moves and how they do them you can see it is just like Celebrity Deathmatch. That game was pretty fun! The kids I used to work with really liked it. Sure, it was very flawed, but it was fun. From what I've played of the new Fire Pro game, it was pretty fun and I will probably buy it soon. It's nothing like the old FP games, but it's an enjoyable wrestling game, and I love wrestling games.
