"WWE officials have spoken this week about the possibility of reforming the Nexus stable. WWE was shocked to hear the Nexus chants last Monday during the match between Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel. On Friday, one of the top stories on WWE.com was a story talking about if Wade Barrett would ever bring back Nexus. A source said, "the only reason for putting up a top story on the website about a glorified squash match, is to hear more from the fans." WWE wants to gauge the general opinion and memory of Nexus from the WWE Universe. There are two main reasons WWE officials have given thought to bringing back the stable. The first being they feel it would provide another opportunity to have Barrett in a lead role and they will be very aggressive in showcasing him to look as strong as possible. The second reason is the Nexus name and brand sold a lot of merchandise the first time around. As of now, the current plan is to hear if the chants continue as well as develop possible creative ideas IF they were to move forward with it. There is no confirmation of the group coming back but as of this week the idea has been put on the table"

The first time turned into such a joke by the end, that I'd rather it just be left alone.

Nexus was the greatest team since Evolution.
I can't see this happening since all of them are making a decent career being single competitor.

If they can do it right this time, why not.

Im doubtful but at least if they picked it up they could then try and resolve some loose ends left over like the bigger picture and why they buried undertaker. It would just be good for storyline sake to make sense of this stuff.

It would help to have something to do for some, but it would pull like half of them back.

Maybe the fans should start chanting ”Stop shoving Cena down our throats” . Maybe then they'll listen.

This must be the "bigger picture".

Bring it back but have it be at survivor series. Have Team Sheamus vs. Team Barrett. Have a few of the nexus guys and a few undercard guys on the teams. Have them when the match starts all turn on Sheamus. Make sure to have a midcard title on one of them at the time. Maybe even try and have it last until next years survivor series and have them try and convince Danielson to join and be WWE champion in the group giving them full control. Have Danielson return heel and beat up Cena getting DQ'd and have it be revealed that Dragon was driving the vehicle.
The reason they attacked Taker was to have Kane spy on Danielson. Have AJ be apart of it also.

i personally love a good stable (DX, Nation Of Domination, NWO, Evolution and The Four Horseman to name a few) and I'd love for these to re-form but Darren Young is doing well in the PTP and Ryback is being built up i just cant see it.

Where's the source on this? I smell bull****.
As for the idea, no thanks. Everyone except for Gabriel and Tarver are doing better without the Nexus. Why take away all the originality and development in the characters just to put back together a faceless stable where the only person who gets to shine is Wade Barrett? (Don't get me wrong, I love Wade)

And maybe instead of Ryback, have Titus O'Neil. And if they did, would Daniel Bryan be in it? Maybe a Bryan/Barrett tag team once Bryan and Kane break up.

Depends on how it's run, it could be good.
Not sure how that would work though, they have all gone on there own ways now. So I could see it being a new group altogether.

I'm assuming this report probably came from WrestleZone.
Except for Bleacher Report, WZ is the worst source for wrestling news. They just take actual news, then spin it, and make something up as a "WZ Exclusive!". Like a Goldberg DVD being reported to be in the works, then WZ report afterwards that Goldberg is set to sign a Legends deal which Goldberg immediately shot down.
That there shows the credibility of WZ.

Am I really the only one against the idea of Nexus being reformed? I mean, look back at the nWo. They were awesome at first but went onto becoming worse every time they tried it again.
I am a big Barrett fan and I loved the Nexus concept, and for sure I'd love to see Barrett dominating again, but I don't see any good reasoning as to why they would reform it out of nowhere. They made a big impact on their debut and that was why the angle pretty much lasted as long as it did, but if you ask me, it pretty much sucked after they lost at SummerSlam. They had a chance to make it good again with Cena joining, but ruined it again. Punk gave it some fresh air for the first few weeks, but then they became a joke when Orton took out all of them.

Umm, no you're not the only one. If you actually look at the posts in this thread, you'll see me and a few others don't want it reformed either.
