10th March 2008 "Thorn in Your Eye" by Such a Surge plays in the arena before it pauses to show the RAW is WAR logo. It's secondary theme hits and a firework falls from the top of the arena and slams down onto the stage causes tons of flames and pyro explode. We look around the arena at the thousands of fans scream and shout, showcasing their signs and banners at the same time before turning back to the logo on the screen and the screen spirals into the tron. Another camera searches the area showing us the three letters 'RAW' on the stage. We turn right to see two large pieces of scaffolding with the WWF logo on the minitron below. We turn back left to see Vince McMahon at the announcers desk. [Vince]- Welcome everybody live to this edition of RAW is WAR! I'm Vince McMahon and I am joined by Jim Ross on the phone! J.R. Can you hear me? [JR]- Yeah, Vince, I'm live in Oklahoma, but you guys are live from the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California! [Vince]- Well, it certainly ain't snowing here tonight, JR. What you will see tonight is what you will probably never see in the rest of the World Wrestling Federation's history, it's World Heavyweight Champion, Bret Hart going one-on-one with the man who returned last Saturday night, Hulk Hogan and it's live for the gold later on tonight! [JR]- That will be a dream match in the making, Vince, two legends locking up right there in front of our eyes. Also, we got Chris Benoit defending the Intercontinental Championship against WWF Extreme Champion, Sabu! [Vince]- Now let's go down to ringside where we have our opening tag team match. Match #1 Tag Team Match Hurricane and Rosey vs. Sandman and Tommy Dreamer Stand back, there's a Hurricane coming through! The Hurricane's theme hits the arena as the little green dude appears on the stage from the back with the big guy, Rosey right behind him. They march down the aisle and climb up the steel steps, Hurricane staying on the apron, posing on the turnbuckle. Rosey poses inside the ring until 'Man in a Box' blows them away and before you know it, Sandman and Dreamer are walking through the arena, singapore canes in hand. Then jump from the barricade and climb into the ring before placing their weapons of choosing on the outside. Dreamer and Rosey start off in the ring as the bell rings. The two circle the ring several times before Rosey overpowers Dreamer and squashes him into the corner. Rosey walks backwards and splashes on Dreamer! The referee lifts his hand up once, and twice but Hurricane reawakes just a splitsecond before the third count. Hurricane immediately begins to fight, getting onto his knee. Hurricane trips Dreamer up and gets in a bridge but only gets two. Hurricane dropkicks Sandman in the gut knocking him to the floor. Hurricane ducks one of Dreamer's shots and lifts him up upside down setting up for the Vertebreaker but Sandman, a table set up on the outside as well, slides into the ring and shoulder blocks Hurricane's knee! You are not as powerful as the Hulkster! Hulk Hogan has been through it all, cage matches, WrestleMania events, two-on-one ambushes, three-on-one ambushes, betrayals, you name it I've been there. But there is one more thing I need to do, brother, and that is win the World Heavyweight Championship one final time! I really liked the show very much, some of the matches seemed a bit oddly put together, but nonetheless, lots of good detail, and i enjoy the old school Attitude feel. MY favoriute match on the card was easily Sabu/Benoit, though im not so sure about using Benoit after his death. Other than that, the Hogan and Bret main event was really good. I like your mix of new and old stars, hopefully the fed contiunes to evolve.

Best WWF show going today.
Fantastic solid card with accurate promos and ringside comentary.
Great tag match opener, wasn't pleased with Sandman and Dreamer winning but it made sense later in the show so deffinate props there.
Dudley's and Hardy's will be great, any chance of seeing the Hardy boyz side up with Sabu for next week???
Kane VS V was a great super heavyweight bout, awesome to see Abdulah get involved a possible great feud between the Big Red Machine and the Sudanese Madman.
[Finlay]- Damn girls, why are they here anyway, RAW ain't about women.
Preach on brother Finlay!
Great match between Finlay and Punk, I like your use of Finlay as an over the top hard knuckles shooter.
Benoit and Sabu was a great match up and glad to see Chris go over but felt really bad for the beat down Sabu took at the hands of Raven and his ECW cronies. Deffinate great build toward Mania.
Hart/Hogan excellent match up with classic elements like Hogan wagging his finger in the face of the Hitman, also awesome to see Warrior taking on a stalker role to cost Hogan the match, it was a very clever ending that wasn't a schmoz or run in with Bret still taking the win in a clean fasion, the HBK superkick on the stage just sweetened the deal and heightened anticipation for the next RAW as well as looking for an answer to if Hogan is really gone or not.
Fantastic show keep up the great work!

Pretty good show Classics. Although there were a few qualms I have with it;
There was a post match beatdown after almost every match. There are other ways to keep feuds going other than this. It became a bit repetitive after a while.
Also, Hulk Hogan announcing if he doesn't win the belt he's going to retire shouldn't be practically ignored by your announcers. You had Johnny Outlaw make it out to not be that big of a deal, when it would be a HUGE announcement in reality. Also, it seems like you forgot about Hogan's statement after he lost the match, because your commentary team made no mention of his earlier statement and him chasing Warrior was then overshadowed by Michaels sweet chin music'ing Bret. Whilst that was a great ending to the show, it was a slightly overbooked ending because it wasn't clear which angle was supposed to be more important. Hogan/Warrior or Hart/HBK.
Apart from that, your matches were all really well written with plenty of detail. Although you may not want your TV matches to run too long because then what's the difference between TV matches and PPV matches?
I really enjoyed the Finlay/Punk match, although the DQ ending was weak. The Celtic Cross on the ramp was a brutal exclamation point. Finlay came across as a total evil b@stard, which he is.
Rosey going crazy after losing his mask is a great idea and adds a different dimension to the Superhero character. I like it a lot.
Benoit/Sabu was an exciting match with the right guy going over. I forget, does Benoit have a match at 'Mania?
The main event was also really enjoyable, although I'm not a fan of having a big World Title match on a Raw before WrestleMania. It complicates matters when it should just be about the 2 guys who are in the main event.
I'm interested to see where the Hogan/Warrior feud goes from here though, and the Kane/Abdullah/Yokohama/Rikishi angle is intriguing. The 10 man tag between Raven's guys and Sabu's guys next week should be a heap of fun as well.
Overall, there's a lot of hard work gone into this show and the matches were all very well written, I'm going to give it a 6.75/10 (yeah I work in decimal points ;D )

Pretty good show Classics. Although there were a few qualms I have with it; There was a post match beatdown after almost every match. Overall, there's a lot of hard work gone into this show and the matches were all very well written, I'm going to give it a 6.75/10 (yeah I work in decimal points ;D ) I love your constructive criticism Lol, you'll have to watch Raw next week to see why he didn't do anything after what he said and also, maybe I did slip up on the Outlaw response to Hulkster. I also think I did too many 'brothers'. I also needed to fit my main event feud into there. As for Benoit not having a WM match...oops Expect an excuse for Samoa Joe next week guys and gals Lol, Rosey is gonna have a Festus like personality [crazy unmasked, normal masked]

Classics, when writing a Hogan promo, you can never have too many 'brothers'. ;D

Not bad dude. I have not read your other stuff. So I do not know what rivalries are going on. However there is nothing really to complain about. You put some good detail in these. No obvious spelling or grammar mistakes. I mean, I did notice one coding mistake...but that is just me being picky. Overall: Very good...I am anxious for the next show.
