Amazing episode, probably the most comic inspired episode yet. This season is already the best.

I still say Bob the character didn't earn that scene... Wasn't long enough to care about. Was MUCH more impactful when it was Dale in the comics. The actor however did a wonderful job with it. That being said, it was dumb due to the thing I already mentioned... everyone's infected so why did it matter that Bob was bit? Clearly they've been eating "tainted meat" all along.
I'm kinda glad they didn't drag this hunters thing on much longer. Guessing the Beth deal is wrapped up in the next couple weeks and we are in Alexandria at the midseason finale.

Remember when Rick said he was gonna kill Gareth with the machete with the red handle? Yup.
Also, Sheamus vs Rick is money.

I watched, just was conversing simultaneously with an actress, so didn't get to jump on here.
I think the ends justified the means, with Bob. Rick was going down a very dark path. He was letting the World change him. Bob, out of ANY of the characters, was the one who needed to tell Rick "Don't let the World change you"...and Rick being Rick -- he respects a dying man's 'wish'.
I'm glad the Hunter thing was here, and done. Time to move on.
This season has flowed the best, and been one of the most entertaining, already. Hopefully they manage to keep it up.

LMFAO at Bob loling at the cannibals! EDIT 1:
Damn Rick, Sasha, and Abraham went OFF on the cannibals. LOL at Gabriel's quote after he saw the carnage: "This is the Lord's house......" I'm DEAD! EDIT 2: No they did NOT kill my girl Carol! I am glad we will finally learn what happened to Beth..

That being said, it was dumb due to the thing I already mentioned... everyone's infected so why did it matter that Bob was bit? Clearly they've been eating "tainted meat" all along. Eh, I get it, but they kind of addressed it - one of The Hunters said "we might as well be eating 'one of them'!" I've always gone off of the theory that yea, we're all infected - but a Walker bite puts something nasty into the bloodstream, which leads to infection, fever, and a quick death (which then leads to turning). Eating "tainted meat", in theory, could theoretically put that same disease into your system - unless, "cooking it", as Gareth said, made it safe... I guess we'll never know. I'm pretty sure eating Walker-meat would lead to something pretty sickening.... so eating a person who has been bitten would be bad as well. Fantastic episode - I love that they are moving through these comic-based story arcs rather quickly - I was kind of uncomfortable that I already knew what they were leading up to with Gabriel and The Hunters because I read the comic book - after last night's episode, I'm pretty much back to being unsure where they are going with anything....

I finally watched last nights episode. I was piss drunk after the Steelers game so I passed out (according to variable sources) at about 8:30 so I just watched the DVR version. Glad the Hunters got slaughtered. Gabriel's reaction to Glen and Maggie was amazing, as was her retort. Glad the next episode is going to be dedicated to Beth. Love her.

How am I meant to go another week!? I need to know what Daryl was talking about now! I am assuming Carol is just fine but she's carrying an invalid, mushed brain Beth around. Look like she's been brainwashed from the previews.

Great start to the season. I was so wrong about Bob getting bit, RIP Bob. The hunters getting slaughtered was one of the more satisfying things I've seen in a while. I thought they would drag it out. It was so obvious they were baiting them when they left Bob at the church. I couldn't believe Rick left looking for the school. Then, they ambushed and killed those bastards. So awesome.

I'm thinking Daryl is bringing Morgan to the church? Because why would he say "Come on out" to Carol or Beth? And does anyone else think Carol is on a death wish, or just wants to be alone?

Didn't Carol say something to Rick about how she was grateful he sent her away. That she was able to make it, and such? Some people really do just prefer solitude. They're able to function better. She spent so many years being beaten, and abused. Then she watched her husband die, even if he was abusive, that still had to be damaging. She watched her daughter die. She's watched friends, and 'family' die. After a while, some people just want to be away from things. I think she found that she did, when she was on her own. She obviously cares about the group, and loves them, but -- maybe she just doesn't feel a part of it, anymore. She is now, what Michonne was, before.

I wonder if it's even a love of solitude, rather than...she hates Rick's decision making & bipolar disorder in 'council vs making selfish decisions for himself & throwing it on the rest of the group' & telling her she was a terrible person for protecting herself & others from swine flu & putting people out of their misery when they were slowly dying...& wants nothing to do with a group that didn't fight to go find HER like Rick would make them go fight to find Carl (the same jerk that shot a kid in cold blood to "protect" the group & talk back to Carol like a jerk) If you couldn't tell, I hate Rick lol IMO his leadership is not something I'd be around..hypocritical to say the least - Team Carol

While he's not been perfect, he has easily been the north star of the group. He's only human, and I think the show's done a great job of showing the kind of pressure someone in his position would be under, in these various circumstances. He sent her away from the flu thing as much to protect her, as to protect other people. He knew Tyreese would likely kill her, and back then, he would have. There's a reason it always comes back to Rick, and that's because he's sacrificed, fought for, and killed for almost each and every one of them, at some point. Most of them wouldn't be around without him (and a few would be around if Carl weren't, lol) -- I think he's an incredibly layered character, and Lincoln hasn't gotten the recognition he deserves for playing him. Moments like Bob talking to him, and thanking him for the prison; Abraham apologizing. Just this season, there have been defining moments of respect for his character. How many ass beatings has Rick G R I M E S took in 4.25 seasons? I say cut the man a little slack, at the VERY least. I don't think Carol hates him, and if she did, that was put to rest, after Terminus. Why does G R I M E S auto to spams?

Well I've done 4 series and the first episodes of series 5 in under 3 weeks. That's normal right? Can't wait for the next episode, I wonder who Daryl (who I didn't like at first, now he's one of my favourite characters) was talking to?

I feel Daryl with be with Carol, and the dude Beth is running away with. Forgot his name, but he was cast as Noah a while ago, so I could only see it being him.
