Wonder how they got Gordon to appear in the Walker fenced area. I also wonder how different Dwight will be to his comic counterpart...season 7 is pretty good so far.

Phew. That was an intense opening 20 minutes. Michonne's aim is terrible.

I was wondering when Eugene was going to get to work his magic. Time to become the most important piece to their survival. No pressure.

They got Negan's constant talking down pat...his line about 'slipping' made it from the comic too which was cool. Looking like quite the build for 'All Out War', as an initial hunch. Wonderful (sparingly used) stuff from Michonne and Rosita...and Mark Martin, Rosita said 'Make me a bullet'.

Did she say "get me a bullet"? Make me a bullet. Remember the factory Eugene and Abraham found, and the diagrams he gave to Rick assuming he was the one who was gonna get killed? It's all coming together.

I don't really get why Dwight is such a douche bag, especially after last week's episode. I get that he wants to act like the good soldier, but it's not like Negan was even watching him when he was a dick to Rosita. Leave my girl alone.

It's all coming together. Sounds vaguely familiar, I guess I'm a little lost. Are they building towards Eugene creating some super weapon or something?

He starts manufacturing ammo for the guns the group finds, I can only assume behind Rick's back since it's actually in the main city that Alexandria/Hilltop/Kingdom/Saviors had scavenged through already. This way they can fight. Morgan built that building in Alexandria for a "reason" after the Wolves.

Dwight's a douche, but we saw why last week. Wish he would have harassed someone else though, admittedly.

Eugene really stepping up of late is very cool...I'm also intrigued as to the potential Negan/Carl dynamic if they end up following it from the books...

Point is, there's no need to get Rosita sun-burned just because his wife told him Negan's packin'.

Anyone else getting tired of the same episode format every week? This season has been by far the best of the past three seasons, but every week is Negan collecting from another group or mentally tormenting them.
First episode was pure torture for our main group. Second episode we were introduced to the "kingdom" but still had a scene of the Saviors collecting from them. Third episode was again torture on Daryl. Fourth episode was 90 minutes of collecting and torturing from the main group. And next week will again be threats and collecting from the Hilltop.
We know all three groups will join up against the Saviors, but this has become tedious every week seeing the same thing over and over.
And I dont know how they can get the fans behind Rick again. He was never this beaten down in the comics and this past episode really ruined him IMO.

In the comics, they were smart enough to take Rick to the edge of the cliff but not push him over so that he could believably fight back against Negan. On the TV show they pushed him off the cliff. Rick is broken. Alexandria needs a new leader. I just don't see the Kingdom and Hilltop joining forces with this broken Rick as their inspirational leader.
