I've heard people on here not liking the figure at all for the attire which I agree but I've also heard about people hating how his arms are or something like that I am curious on what it is that people seem to not like about the figure.

I don't own the figure but it's the arms people complain it's like B19 Hornswoggle's arms

Various problems people have had with the figure:
The arms have different articulation to most figures. There's less at the shoulder and more at the elbow.
It's scaled too small.
The hair is weird.
It's still a great figure though.

I don't own b19 swaggle, but Mankind's arms are different than most elites. He doesn't have the upper arm cut below the shoulder. His arm cut is at the elbow. So it bends like a normal elbow, but it also swivels. So it has the same amount of poa's as other elite arms, just located in different parts of the arm.

Height wise, Mankind is fine. Everyone says "Oh he's too short, look at him compared to The Rock or Vince McMahon." but when you compare him to figures that are the same height or close to him (Bret Hart, Randy Savage for instant) they're just right. He even comes to the right height on Flashback Kane so I dunno why people say he's too short.
The weight/thickness could be a little bigger. It appears to be a George Steele body with the rubber shirt over it. Ill agree on that part.
As for the arms and black pants instead of brown....Its 6 in one hand and half a dozen in the other to me. Unless this was your #1 most wanted figure, I dont see how it really makes a difference. Its a good figure either way.

I agree, the arms did kind of bother me, there's no ball joint at the shoulders.

Even with the arm articulation being different from other elites I still enjoy mine, it's a good figure.

Height wise I have no problems with the figure and actually I don't have and issue with his girth because back then he was smaller than he is now. I agree, the arms did kind of bother me, there's no ball joint at the shoulders. Why do people keep saying that? I could be mistaken because mine has been on my shelf since my preorder arrive from RSC but from what I remember about it was while it looked different than the standard elite shoulder it still has the same range of motion as the normal shoulders.

Its an awesome figure. The arm joints a little different because its in a different spot to turn them, but it works just the same as all the other elites. In fact, I like it better for Mankind because when he held his arm up in a fist, he always held it just like the figure would. Its awesome really. Besides wishing he was in his debut brown attire, I cant find a thing to complain about him. I love the fact that they made the mask removable too.

It's a great figure, almost perfect to me. I just want Cactus Jack and debut Mankind now.

Don't get me wrong, I like the figure, I just feel it awkward, reminds me of those titan Tron figures. Similar to the arms of classic series 1 Taker.

The arms do look strange closeup, they resemble Jakks' TTL figures but the articulation remains the same though. Other than that, its a great figure.

Yeah, it is definitely at least a bit too short/thin. The range of movement in the arm definitely isn't the same as a ball-jointed shoulder either, I'm surprised there are people saying it is. It's impossible for that arm to have as much range of motion as the standard figure arms. For the most part, it's not an issue, though. The Mankind arm has enough range for most play and poses. There is a specific pose I'd like to do with it though that I can't. It's a stance he'd go into when stalking someone for the Socko claw, where he lifts his arm and bends his elbow so the sock/hand is aiming downwards towards his opponent. I can't even find decent pictures of the pose i mean but the most recent example is probably that moment when he and Santino had the Socko/Cobra standoff. It's a pose that's easy to do with standard figures by raising the arm then swiveling the bicep, but it can't be done with the single poa on the Mankind shoulder. chriswalder26.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/foley_santino.jpg

This thread makes me want E17 Mankind sooooo bad! Foley was virtually immobile in any persona he portrayed, so a less poseable figure wouldn't be an issue for me.

So my Mankind has smiley faces on the tie, is that a variant? No, because your Mankind doesn't have smiley faces on the tie.
