Hey dewds, haven't posted in the figure area in years, stopped collecting after Jakks, anywho, thats not the point. I was wondering if anyone had the original line-ups that were supposed to happen in the later series'? I think it was from about CS23 onwards the original line-ups changed pretty majorly, and I know that the original ones were incredible, like some seriously awesome stuff.
Thanks

Johnny B. Badd was supposed to be in the same series as Buff Bagwell. Wish we would have got him.

CS28 could have been one of the best series Jakks released. Too bad

Wish we would have got that Bam Bam in CS28. I liked that attire much better than the first release.

I agree. CS 28 would have been an awesome set, especially had Bigelow been in his gray flame attire. I also think the CS 27 line-up was very solid.

Does anyone know why Lita and Linda were canned?

I wish they would have made Skinner... I'm still hoping that since Jakks was able to sign him, then Mattel could easily make one.
I had stopped collecting around series 8 or so, but why didn't they finish the guys they had signed?

Does anyone know why Lita and Linda were canned? I have no idea why Lita was canned. Linda is probably a variety of reasons - political, WWE didn't approve, Linda didn't approve, etc. Shame too the proto of Linda looks cool. Wish Lita had been released.

The one I'm majorly pissed we didn't get is Evil Crush. yup The part that baffles me th emost is that there was another Crush in CS 27! JAKKS probably would've used the same head put on a Mr. Perfect torso along with the tights legs and padded boots. Stuff they were already producing! Just fiddle with the paint scheme.

Pretty sure that Linda didn't approve the figure. The same thing happened with her unreleased TTL figure.

Did we ever see anything from the headbangers? I remember those were supposed to be released [/quote/] No, to my knowledge there were no prototypes made up. But that doesn't mean they don't exist. Best bet is to ask one of the headbangers themselves if they ever saw anything. I have no idea why Lita was canned. Pretty sure that Linda didn't approve the figure. The same thing happened with her unreleased TTL figure. I'm almost certain Linda didn't approve. Judging by her CS proto image, I can understand why. But I'm surprised she didn't request a "business shirt" mold be made for her.

No prototype image was ever released for the CS Linda. There were a few proto pictures for the TTL Linda though, which I assume is what you mean. The CS figure may have been the same figure, but equally it might have been completely different, we'll never know.
